Has this ever happened on a major show?

It's gonna be either Rosita or Sasha or Glenn.

Karma is a huge thing in the show so Neegan is doomed to die a bloody death... probably from Carl or Rick... by his famous weapon.

Killing Daryl would result in a huge meltdown. It can happen but I doubt it.

Cliffhanger for a major death? Like all the time. Arrow is doing it right now, and has been all season. And the season before they had a "Who Killed ___?" all season.

Exactly. This whole episode, all 93 minutes of it, was to build up Negan and this "payback" that AMC said was coming in the promos. We got a black screen.

I don't even care who dies now. It's likely gonna be Aaron or Rosita.

I'll pissed is it is either one of them or Eugene(maybe) as the show really suffers no lost as those characters are expendable(might throw Sasha in there is well) and it makes the cliffhanger completely pointless.

it has to be a main character in my opinion

good, fuck that
minus carol, tyreese and judith, we at least knew that our whole team was captive, but back together again. morgan's episode could've been the season premiere.

i would say season 6 has some high high's, but the lowest lows.

Oh yeah. Season 4 goes back up.

At the end of 24 season 2 a major character is targeted for assassination and collapses, it literally ends with the character's heartbeat and gasps but we had to wait until season 3 to find out if they died or not.

My positives for this episode

+ JDM is amazing as Negan. Even though it was a cliffhanger, fucking great scene

+ I loved how the Saviors played games with the group. They didn't seem like much before but now that Rick has gotten Negan's attention and not just his commanders - it's become clear just how threatening they are. To be honest, I doubt even the fifty odd saviors we saw at the end is all of them.

+ Rick's "I fucked up" look throughout the second half of the episode was glorious. He was getting too confident, borderline arrogant for my liking.

+ Glenn's mini freakout was cool

+ Gabriel stepping up big time. That man probably has the best written development this season.

+ Eugene trying to step up. LOL. I still love you man, you tried

+ S3 Carl may be back, the kid that was dropping bombs before it was popular on this show... except it'll be more extreme. "Don't make me kill the little future serial killer" - No amount of farming, guidance and walled in communities is mellowing him out this time.

+ Abraham continues to have the best one-liners

is a shame because this was probably one of the best episode of the show
and at the same time one of the worst

Yeah, those were good parts.

Rick was totally shook and Carl and Abe were amazing in that last bit.

Here's the thing: that should've happened in this finale. Yes there would've been a meltdown...but a better one than the one we are having now lol.

If we see him being on the end of Lucille in the first 2 minutes of the S7 premiere...i would feel so hallow.

Again. You know which character it is at least. Whether or not they're dead is a better cliffhanger than what we got IMO.

I can't think of any other show that has done this to the audience.

I must be one of about 9 people who isn't that mad. I feel like cliffhangers are a part of television. I thought this episode was great. It was tense and I can't wait for next season!

I need one of those bats too.

Blinded by the luminous glory that is David Bowie's physical manifestation.
It'll be Tara. She's pregnant, right? Can't see her keeping on going while having a baby

She wasn't there. Neither was the Original Alexandria Runner dude.

It's:

  • Glenn
  • Maggie
  • Rick
  • Carl
  • Daryl
  • Michonne
  • Abraham
  • Rosita
  • Sasha
  • Eugine

Aaron would be the cop-out person, since he has no character development. Rosita could happen, but she's just now starting the road of character development...plus she could be a love interest for Spencer, who needs to grow into his own. Eugene could be, since his plan was given away to Rick. Abraham, had a sort of arc, that would make sense somewhat if he died...but still...I think Eugene is the one.

andy lincoln is putting on an acting clinic especially tonight. It's a damn shame he'll never get recognition. That defeated look, the look of bewilderment. Brilliant.

Carl is a G. No tears, didn't even look shook.
this reminds me, none of the actors ever got emmy nominations, which are the television equivalent of the oscars right? I feel like sometimes these actors have definitely deserved it, I already feel like jeffrey dean morgan will, but why hasn't it happened?
lol pretty funny response
pretty damn accurate too wouldn't you say?

yep. season 4 was pretty good.

this show has done cliffhangers before but this was literally a pathetic excuse (a hashtag) for a cliffhanger.

How are they going to kill a major character at the start of the next season. Are they just going to tell a major actor in the middle of the summer "sorry you died, don't come back".

I highly doubt it's anyone important.

It's so obvious that Aaron gets the bat if you watch the last scene closely I think you see his jacket.

Killing Aaron would probably piss off the fewest people, which would mean more people would continue to watch the show! $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$

It was one of the weaker episodes of the season, and I do kinda wish they went the extra bit and shown us who bit the bat, but I still enjoyed the finale.

I just don't think they have the balls to kill off anyone popular.

I think it's Abraham. They've been building up his character a lot lately and he had that closure with Eugene.

I hope it's not Eugene just so we can figure out how he fucked up (as usual) so badly.

Michonne and Daryl would result in the biggest meltdowns. As in... some people would literally stop watching.

Somewhat meltdown is Sasha or Rosita. They are who I sadly expect to die.
