Fuck it. Just ordered this. I always thought people complaining about backlog were crazy, but I'm becoming one of them...

It really was a great game, one of the best James Bond games. James Bond and gaming used to go hand in hand, and I really hope we see a great return to the series in next gen. It deserves it.

Quantum of Solace and Bloodstone weren't horrible, just not as great as their predecessors.

EON is together with Indiana Jones and the Emperor's Tomb one of those games that I will love forever. Nostalgia is a great thing.

It's still awesome. Some nice car sequences as well.
Unless you buy the PC version. I remember seeing trailers for the NGC and PS2 versions which included awesome car chase scenes and some really cool-looking missions, only to find out that the PC version didn't have any of that, all of the missions were changed drastically and the car chases only showed up in cutscenes. That was probably the first time a game seriously let me down.

Props has to be given to EA for the approach they took. Blood Stone felt targeted much the same, but something about it just wasn't the same as this. I dare say the change of tone with Daniel Craig's Bond - the move away from the out-and-out ridiculous - plays a large role in that. The Goldeneye Wii game has a better pop at recreating this tone, but still it isn't quite as good.

Goldeneye > Everything or Nothing > Goldeneye Wii.

I remember playing the first few missions before it got tossed in the backlog. I still have it and still mean to play it. Awesome game!

Almost all of the PS2 James Bond titles were great, imo. Everything or Nothing was the best, though. The co-op was amazing and the optional 007 goals in every level was a good touch. I need a new James Bond game.

Yikes. Played it on Gamecube, was great.

Co-op storyline was fucking hard though as you had only limited amount of lifes. Never finished it with my brother.
Word. I think we managed to barely beat it.

Only Bond game that made you actually feel like James motherfucking Bond.

Is the Xbox version available digitally on 360?

Fantastic game.

EA actually did a really good job with the bond licence.

Much much better than Activision.

Thanks OP, completely forgot about this game. Meant to buy it years ago but just never got around to it. Awesome sales job. Just bought on ebay for the gamecube £3.99 including postage.

I enjoyed From Russia With Love - similar gameplay, including the soft-lock on system, cover system. But best of all had Sean Connery voicing 007.

Unfortunately there wasn't a co-op portion.

Both are pretty fun and worth it if you find it used.

I remember playing the demo of the bike level over and over :p

But in the talk of James Bond games you shouldnt forget the masterpiece on PS1: Tomorrow Never Dies.

Blowing everything up with a jet, fighting enemies while skiing, and great music during the whole ting.

Me and my brother played the shit out of this game on GameCube lol. We always played the coop missions over and over.

IDK about best PS2 game, but its a surprisingly good TPS/action game. Looked great back in the day on the Xbox. You feel like such a G when you do them Bond moments

Damn! I forgot all about this game. There were some fun Bond games on PS2 honestly. This, From Russia With Love, and Nightfire were all great.

Always thought the game looked awesome but never got to play it myself.

Lock-On Targeting... but with a twist! Yes, you lock onto targets, but the cool thing that this game did, and no other game in memory replicated, is it still gave you a movable targeting reticule that you could move to do headshots, body, etc.

You mean like GTA IV, RDR and presumably GTA V?

Defiantly, 100% without a doubt fucking AGREE.

Such an incredible game, one that I spend many many hours with ( and even more with the co op)
From the vehicle missions, stealth missions and everything in-between, was just awesome. Even really liked the official song for it.

Still remember that very first mission, motorcycle mission, tank mission and when you race to get to the plane like I played them yesterday.

One of my best moments was probably the part were you had to sneak, while in a car, to a location inside the city, using the invisible car feature to hide. So good.

Really miss it and may even get a ps2 to play it again. One of the very very few ps2 games I actually still have the case and disk for.

It was one of my first Gamecube games, together with Luigi's Mansion. I played this damn thing way in 2005 and loved every second of it. God damn, that motorcycle sequence was so excellent.
