007 Legends announced (360, PS3)

I wonder who's developing the Skyfall Wii U game. Will it be Quantum of Solace Wii: The Revengenace?

I can only hope so.

STOP SHITTING ON MY MOTHER'S HEADSTONE
After the Goldeneye remake on Wii - Do not want. Probably won't be touching another Bond game for a long time unfortunately, that game was so bad.

You're fucking insane, that game was godlike.

We are so close to the all Bonds code.

I'm really happy they kept Eurocom since they make the best bond games.

I loved Eurocom's Goldeneye, so I'm totally down for this. I hope they stick with the 1080p/60 fps like with the Goldeneye port on 360.

Not interested after my massive disappointment with that last Goldeneye game. The stealth parts were fine but the rest of it played like a Call of Duty game.

So did the original, if you boil it down. Scripted sequences, explosions, and shooting guns, peppered with stealth segments.

Hard for even the biggest Bond fans to get excited over this. This is a license that should be consistent AAA quality. And, well, just look at how it gets treated.

blood stone was great, just give us a sequel and market it properly. when this game was coming out i haven't seen a single screenshot or trailer,i didn't even know if it's a first person or third person shooter,i was only aware of the racing segments

i'm just playing through golden eye reloaded and i think i like blood stone more

Activision has actually done right by the 007 brand I think. I've pretty much enjoyed all of them.

I don't understand this. I'm interested because I love me some James Bond, but i don't understand how this is going to work seeing as how the franchise was rebooted with Casino Royale. How can there be an overarching story tying 6 movies together IF any one of those movies is either Casino Royale, Quantum of Solace, or Skyfall?

I guess we'll see.

Casino Royale --> Thunderball --> You Only Live Twice --> On Her Majesty's Secret Service --> Diamonds Are Forever --> For Your Eyes Only --> Skyfall is how I'd do it.

Although that wouldn't be an "original" storyline, really, just adding on to what's already there in the novels/films. You could do something with Felix Leiter's appearances too, but I'd rather see them adapt the Blofeld storyline for the games.

I would bet on Quantum/SPECTRE/SMERSH all being one group in the new game, no matter what they'd do.

At one time I would have loved this game. Now I'm not too sure. While I loved the James Bond movies of the past (even had an almost complete set on laserdisc at one time), I haven't enjoy the Daniel Craig films. He has been good but the films just seem off for some reason.

Thread reminded me to buy reloaded for 36 on amazon

Also, I've been a Bond nut since I was a kid, so of course I'm interested in this

Sorry Activision, my favourite Bond moments cannot be relived in generic first person shooter form. Especially the Sean Connery ones. Coolest Scotsman that isn't me ever.

From Russia With Love
Goldfinger
The Spy Who Loved Me
License to Kill
GoldenEye
Skyfall

And if Activision hasn't licensed all the original theme music from these movies, fuck them!

James Bond games from 2001 through 2005 had some great stuff, so hopefully they derive and/or pull some content from them:

007: Agent Under Fire
007: Nightfire
007: Everything or Nothing
007: From Russia With Love

Let's be honest. Everything or Nothing is the only true great up there. The others are merely serviceable. Russia with Love was just depressing aside from the awesome music/art direction.

Amazon has their preorder pages up and the xbox version is listed as Kinect. O boy I can't wait to see what halfassed support they come up with. You are the gunbarrel.

Also the release is apparently set for October 16th. Yay! Not sent to die against Call of Duty.

Actually, if I get to do the opening bond moment where I walk on and shoot at the screen - Kinect will be worth it just for that moment

I'm a sucker for Bond. They're usually rushed to sell on the name alone and meet licensing quotas, but goddamn it, maybe there can be a great one again. I still need to try bloodstone and the goldeneye reboot thing.

I thought Activision did okay with Quantum of Solace, even though the campaign was shit and like 80% casino royale story missions. Treyarch pushed that out like a week before COD world at war, and it was worth the multiplayer alone. It ran on the CoD engine and added the best third person cover system I've seen tried in a FPS.

The cover added a new element to the usual CoD match types, and people still play it. It's hard for me to play any CoD knowing that they could have a functional cover system in there.

So reading this, are they just repurposing the Goldeneye Reloaded edition multi component for this game?

Also, just to tease fans.. they should have a chapter in here.. that concludes BloodStone... stupid cliffhanger.

Agent Under Fire will always have a place in my heart for its incredibly entertaining for all the wrong reasons cut scenes and cheesy quotes, plus who can resist the allure of random Bond based off no one in particular? But yeah I guess it's not that great really.
Unless you play multiplayer with the Q Claw usable on all walls and with 1 shot deaths.

Nightfire has the best multiplayer of any Bond game including Goldeneye.
