I have no problem with them going back and sticking Craig into older Bond movies in this game. It's not like that causes those movies to disappear from my shelves. I don't know if I want EON to start remaking Bond films (although there's more than a few stories - Moonraker, specifically - that could use it) but if they're going to do it, I prefer they do it in game form. As it stands, I find the story/execution of Eurocom's Goldeneye to be better than the film's, and the idea of something like Moonraker getting essentially re-done w/ Daniel Craig, updated to be something that isn't a blatant, brain-dead cashgrab huffing Star Wars' farts? Fine with me.
Since they're going with the (unfairly) maligned On Her Majesty's for the 2nd level, I'm hoping the next three levels are based on films that could also stand an update/remake that can really improve on the source material.
You Only Live Twice
The Man With the Golden Gun
Tomorrow Never Dies
I could see Die Another Day being chosen, just based on the setpieces used in the movie. It's probably the worst Bond movie (either that, Golden Gun, or View to a Kill) but you can build quite a few great gaming scenarios out of what that film contains.
edit: happy to see the love for On Her Majesty's. I really think that's a top 5 Bond. Probably top 3.
I kinda would like them to put "The Spy Who Loved Me" in here as a level, specifically for the ski-chase. In fact, that would have been the perfect pre-credits opening to the game: You're in bed, you're hit up on the wristwatch, you get up, slalom down a hill bucking shots at squads of enemies while jumping hills, dodging trees, and you lead directly into the main credits of the game after parachuting off a giant cliff.
