Damn, I'm so impatient. Back before PSP came out I had purchased a 1GB Sandisk Memory Stick for around 150 bucks. This is how far they have fallen in price, for fucks sake. Now I have no room in my budget even if I wanted a new card

Well since I believe the theoretical max for these is 4GB, and since a 4GB card even when PS3 came out would be > $200, I don't think it's exactly feasible to replace a HD. Since, er, a HD would be 20 gigs at least, and would cost 50-100

Yeah, not having high capacity flash for the PS3 is not a big deal.

Now for the PSP on the other hand..........

Seems like even 4 GB in a card the size of a duo seems a stretch.

But one can never doubt the capabilities of manufacturers.

Well my thinking is, you buy a 2-4 gig memory stick for the PSP and use it to it's full capacity for the PS3. With 2 gigs you should have more then enough for PSP and PS3 saves, scratch data to improve loading, MP3 music, game patches & mods, tv shows. Add more capacity and even add movies to the mix. I don't need 50+ gigs unless it's going to have Tivo capabilities.
