Sooo many people here picking the Rockets to lose tonight against the 76ers. Don't think that's gonna happen, Rox know what's on the line. Anyway..

I've got the Grizzlies tonight. Think they're probably gonna get in, but the Hornets....the Hornets have a serious chance of dropping out of that 7th seed. Shit needs to continue to go wrong for them against Portland tonight.

What the fuck gaf. How are you picking the shitty 76er's over us? The Rox have been rocking your local team's world lately, and this is how you repay us? You know we just sat our starters for 1.5 quarters right? That we were up by 18 against the Nets? GOTDAMN.

I am HEATED.

Burks doesn't seem to have limiting weaknesses but I'm still not sure on him. He's smart, athletic, can handle the ball, pass and his issues with strength, shooting, and effort seem like they'll sort themselves out naturally, but those issues are just so major right now that, why they'll probably work themselves out, it's going to take him like 4-5 years to start starting on a team and he probably won't get any minutes at all his first two seasons.
Defense and he's terrible off the ball.

Those aren't limiting weaknesses like broken fundamentals though and should improve as he gets older. Those things will contribute to him not cracking a rotation in the NBA for a long while though. Next year's ROY race is going to suck, Vesely could grab it by only averaging 8 points per game.

All these NBA players getting with celebrities/models... Meanwhile in OKC, they're playing video games at each others' houses and lip-syncing to rap songs on Ustream.

Thunder U Culture.
Don't act like they only sit around and play mario.

It's amazing how the NBA has a bunch of lesser tier players getting the really really hot chicks, but the most popular and successful ones end up with some overweight ugly chick.
Or Jason Kidd's past prime leftovers (Wade).

Chad Ford "Tons of teams need a point guard in this draft."

He should go team by team and name them because PG is easily the most minor need of most of the lottery teams from I think of the roster.

Weird to think that Kings @ Nuggets might be the game of the night.

Mavs-Clippers and Blazers-Hornets are more intriguing from both a standings and a basketball perspective. Nuggets will thrash Kings. Kings final 9 is pretty brutal. Could lose 8 or all 9 of em.

Warrios @ Grizz could be fun, too. and OKC @ Phx!

Wiz don't need a PG, Cavs do but they need every position, Nets don't, Raptors don't, Clippers not really, Minnesota doesn't but they may draft it anyways, Warriors don't, Detroit maybe, Jazz don't.

He didn't say it was their more glaring weakness, just that they could use one.

Oh Chris Sheridan...

Fact or Fiction: Deron Williams is the best player on the Nets or Knicks.

Chris Sheridan, ESPN New York: Fiction. Carmelo Anthony is the best player on either team, and Amare Stoudemire is second. Williams may be the best point guard in the NBA not named Derrick Rose, but he cannot take over a game the way the other two can.

I need to see this!

We could match our win total from last year tonight and hit 50.
You didn't see that? I would've posted earlier of I hadn't been delayed by "the real world."

Can't find it on YouTube, but it's Harden, Green :)() and KD lip-syncing to "Say Aaaah", and it's amazing. That's where the whole "Broingtons" thing came from.

The seats might be empty other wise. Atleast this way they may get you to buy a coke & dog for 25$.

Sessions is also a decent PG so PG is the least of the needs of the Cavs. I'm annoyed by how there's this myth going on that PGs are impossible to find whereas you can get wings anywhere (Which is Ford is continuing to say) when the opposite is true.

You can get wings anywhere, there's just a lot of range in talent and a big disparity from starter wing to all-star wing to upper echelon wing.

Teams have PGs but not always true PGs. Put it this way, the Heat have been looking for a PG for awhile but the best they can get is busted up Bibby. You can find a decent wing to play some D and hit an outside shot, thus not really hurting your team, but its harder to find a PG that actually contributes to winning.

Dorrell Wright is a top ten SF in the NBA, that a positional disaster and no one mentions it. I think it's generally pretty easy to find PGs who contribute to winning in the late first-round (Collison, Holiday, Maynor, others were found in that range in 2009) whereas teams have to reach for wings who's only basketball skill is being able to wide open threes while standing still (Wes Johnson) because the position is so weak. And it's a position where Raja Bell is still getting $10m contracts.

Are you advocating Derrick Williams over Kyrie Irving?
