I went to 5 games the first season and didn't see a win. It is amazing how far we have come and how much potential we still have.KingGondo said:Pretty crazy that in 2 years we went from 23 wins to potentially favored to reach the Western Conference Finals. :bow to Presti.
They were, and hopefully they continue to. I think they know they are the better team but I am not sure how they will handle the pressure of the game in Friday.KingGondo said:Wish I could have been there!
Whoever we get in the second round, we can definitely beat them. Heck, we'd probably even be favored against Memphis although they're playing with some serious confidence right now.
Same for me, I didn't see them win until the 8th or 9th game I went to.TylerD said:I went to 5 games the first season and didn't see a win. It is amazing how far we have come and how much potential we still have.
The Grizz look shell-shocked, but I think they'll bounce back. Of course, for selfish purposes I'm hoping the Spurs win Game 6.jjasper said:They were, and hopefully they continue to. A subtle joke about Zach Randolph looking like a Ninja Turtle? Color me impressed by the Blunder fan.KingGondo said:The Grizz look shell-shocked, but I think they'll bounce back. Of course, for selfish purposes I'm hoping the Spurs win Game 6.

Middle Eastern - Carnival in the valley. Best Hummus I've found. Same with Falafel and Schwarma and great kebabs too. Oh man, and the best fries.
I lost my go to Italian quite a few years ago and am struggling to find one that separates from the pack. Can't help with steaks/BBQ much. Haven't found anything that worth it and I grill my own steaks.
Mexican can be anything, really. so many hole in the walls. might as well try em all! Same for Sushi. Lot of great sushi places. People can be picky, but I don't think you can go that wrong with most of them.
Philippe's has been mentioned for French Dip sandwiches.
Brent's is a great Deli, but Langer's has better pastrami.
Roscoe's is Paul Pierce's go to Chicken & Waffles.
edit: If you got some cash to blow, I'd recommend a Churrascaria if you want to truly pig out on great food. Fogo de Chao is quite awesome.
Watch this, NBA fans, because it's going to be historic.
You want to see something truly Magical?
Watch now as Orlando turns the Atlanta Hawks into the Atlanta Birdbrains.
It's going to happen just as sure as the weather in Orlando this summer will be sunny and hot with a 60 percent chance of afternoon thundershowers. The Magic are going to win this series and the Birdbrains are going to fold up and collapse like a $5 lawn chair. You know it, I know it and deep down in the lonely recesses of their fragile minds, the Birdbrains know it, too.

I've heard good things about some Korean BBQ/taco fusion truck that makes the rounds in LA, but I can't remember the name. Having spent most of the last two years in Korea, I'm looking forward to trying it.
jjasper said:Yeah they did but even then and with Tony Parker on fire was still a 2 point game in the last minute of overtime and we still had a chance to win if fucking Tony Allen didn't go hero mode and Gasol had realized how much time was in the clock.

If there´s one team that can fold, it´s the Hawks. Like we´ve said before, this was a battle of two fucked up teams, on the downside.
Anything can happen, but it´s looking more like Magic right now. That motivational pice might entice Josh Smith to shoot 20 times tonight, "to prove a point". If that happens the Magic are fine.
http://www.neogaf.com/forum/showthread.php?t=428760Rep. Sally Kern, R-Oklahoma City, said minorities earn less than white people because they dont work as hard and have less initiative.
We have a high percentage of blacks in prison, and thats tragic, but are they in prison just because they are black or because they dont want to study as hard in school? Ive taught school, and I saw a lot of people of color who didnt study hard because they said the government would take care of them.
He got that opinion from watching Westbrook.reilo said:

Dunno what happened to the team but they don't look anything like the team that I watched in person 3 times this season (two Rockets, one Mavs). Bonner looks like a lost white man (wheres Wilson?), Neal/Hill are interchangeably mediocre, and Jefferson disappeared.
We pushed you to the limit twice this regular season, very high energy and skillful play on both sides. Sidenote, jesus Spurs fans travel well or something cause all three times the spurs contingency was at least 45% of the arena when they should have been away. Now though? No energy, stagnancy has set in, and its like a different team is out there.

Too bad Timmy didn't realize he'd win a lot more in LA.
LA is really laid back. Aside from a few sensationalist reporters its not like NY or Boston. Manny mentioned when he came from Boston how refreshing it was. He could go grocery shopping after a loss and people were just like "oh well get'em next time". And for the most part stars in LA are treated like royalty. For all his faults and transgressions Kobe is a fuckin saint in LA.obijkenobi said:I don't think Duncan would have liked playing in LA. The dude's too laid back to have to deal with that environment.
That said, if Tim and Kobe had teamed up in their primes, that would have been in the top 3 most devastating basketball duo's of all time right? I mean who else would be better in terms of pure skill and how well they would complement each other?

Jesus.Grant Hill said:I (had been) told everything was fine. I even found out that certain team doctors were questioning whether I was really hurt, thinking I was soft or whatever. This was after I had pulled myself from Game 2 against the Heat. At that time, when I found out I had broken my ankle, as crazy as this sounds, I was relieved. I finally had some confirmation, I finally had proof that Im really not making it up.

And certainly I didnt know that until the doctor informed me of that. Apparently he had forwarded all the information down there to Orlando."
