B-b-b-bu-bu-but dat leadership.

Fisher is a good leader, but he should be a leader in the huddle. His value is a game where OKC is behind entering the 4th on the road and Fish walks up there and tells them what needs to be done.

But if he's out there trying to do it...

If Fisher's ego and/or Brooks fear of not playing Fish happens, it will cost them a title.

I doubt that will stick come playoff time. He might have one random "Kerr on the Spurs" game, but even then Kerr was always a steady, bankable shooter which bought him PT even in his later years. Fisher offers nothing. If the Thunder throw him out there to play matador defense and brick jumpers on the off chance that he might make a clutch basket they will lose.

If Fisher takes the shot to knock the Lakers out of the wcf (lets say in 5), you really think he's missing that?

Really?

Fish is another double agent, like Odom. Mitch knew we couldn't beat the Thunder straight up, so he sent in agent shameball.

Every team in the nba gets into a position where a game might be decided by one shot.......fisher being as good as cp3 wouldn't have changed that.

If Fish is playing 5mpg and hits a clutch shot, then fine. Good on OKC.

But if he's playing 25min, chances are they're in that spot because of him.

Maybe, but then again lakers did ride out 5 titles with that...OKC FO isn't oblivious of fisher's woes.....And personally, i'd rather have a pg like fisher who is calm and collected in a finals game than agent turnover point guard x.

Whoa, no one is saying he was always this bad.

Fisher was a great bench player in '00 and '01. In '01 he had one of the greatest 3pt shooting stretches any player has ever had. In '02 he was good enough as a starter.

Same in '08-10. In '08 and '09 Fisher was average on offense. '10 he fell off and they skated by but Fisher was pure trash last season and this season he is D-O-N-E.

People forget, but Fisher used to be a good defensive guard, especially during the 3pete.

he played 36min last night in the double OT game.

Shot 2/11. He killed his team. In an offensive race, he missed 3 shots in a row in 3 plays which nearly cost his team the game. Brooks ran a Fisher-Westbrook-Harden-Durant-Ibaka (or Collison) lineup for 15 min straight. Of course, JJ Barea had a triple double on him...

Question is, with Brooks be dumb enough to play him significant playoff minutes? If the answer is yes, then OKC is not coming out of the West.

The best thing about Fish signing with OKC is that it'll likely hurt them just by virtue of him actually getting minutes :lol.

Sad that we waived Rasual, he would've been clutch to have right now.

That's Chicago ball! Bahhhh, y'all can have it anyway.

Whatever the fuck happened to Lamar Odom is crazy. Imagine if he hadn't lost his marbles and the Lakers didn't have to give him away? Even if he was just almost as good as last year he'd be amazing for the Lakers bench.

I like how people are trying to convince Laker fans about the value of a player they've had to deal with for several years.

Fisher is garbage people. But he's still a basketball player. Which means if he's given more minutes than he deserves and also the greenlight to take shots no matter how awful he' been all game, guess what? He's going to make a shot or two eventually. There's your "clutch".

Nice to have NBA-GAF back! Place feels different after our mini-lockout and move to Community.

Have to get used to this new location.
