Are you high, Sancha? In 13/14, Lakers have:

Kobe
Pau
Bynum, presumably
Artest
Blake

Those are all expiring that year, minus Bynum, which is precisely why we need to trade his ass. We don't need to deal with working around his $15 million when trying to rebuild and sign free agents. Bynum should not be a part of the future.

there won't be 2 FAs better than him to sign. And if you trade him, chances are you're getting 1 or 2 pieces that will take up just as much or more cap room come then. Lakers are not trading him for expiring or near-expiring without intent to extend.

You can't just trade Bynum for pieces and then not pay those pieces unless it's a stupid trade.

re-sign Kobe? Like hell. He better be retired in 2 years.

lol @ thinking he'll retire at 35.

RealGM running a rumor that a source close to DWill says Deron doesn't like Dallas saying "there's no longevity there", he prefers Nets but Lakers appear more suitable than Mavs.

That's why they'll trade him for Deandre Jordan and Eric Bledsoe.

I don't trust Bynum's health one but. I think he's pretty much peaked physically and will probably only go downhill from here. I'd sell high on Bynum. If you aren't getting a star player like Dwight or Deron in return, the trade him for a package. A overpaid vet with a year or two remaining, a decent young prospect and a draft pick or two. Same thing with Pau. Break up their salaries and give yourself more flexibility.

You must have the Lakers front office confused with Morey.

fine, but it won't free up much room in 2014 is what I'm saying. It might actually eat up room, depending on the trade.

My man.

So much better than Diablo II its not even funny. My eyes bleed from how gorgeous it is. Act II is basically texture porn.

You?

Dude, I am loving it. It's my first Diablo experience and I am in awe of how gorgeous it is. Reilo and I were talking about how visually stunning it is. I honestly don't understand the complaints from others that its not dark enough, that its not impressive visually, etc. I just don't get it.

A Lakers front office that has Artest and Blake on the books for 12 million in two years.

Bledsoe
Grandpa Kobe
Artest
West
Jordan

Do it Mitch.

Compared to the one that has about $60 million to Scola and Kevin Martin for 2 years (and Scola anther $20 for 2 more)? You really want to do this?

Not neccesarily. It would depend solely on the young players. A majority of the salary you take back would be in the vet who might be expiring. Say, hypothetically speaking, you can do Bynum for Elton Brand, Jrue Holiday (he's probably not available, just an example) and a draft pick. Brand expires, and then whatever you end up paying the young players is less than the space Bynum would be taking up. Way easier said than done, I'm sure, but just saying you don't have to hit a homerun work a Bynum trade and get back a star in return. I just don't like Bynum for this teams future, even though he's young. His attitude stinks and I'm not convinced this wasn't the best season he will ever have. Sell high.

.

Take it for what it's worth, it IS Bill Simmons, but he speculates that because Tyson Chandler is a well liked dude around the league, and they basically didn't even attempt to resign him and defend their title in favor of chasing Dwight/Deron, it might have put the Mavs front office in a bad light with some players. He spoke with Tyson and said that he seemed real salty about the way the Mavs basically passed on him even though he had just helped them win a title.

Did you just compare Scola and Kevin Martin to World Piece of Shit and Blake? Lakers fans smh

btw, Scola expires the same year as Blake :lol

Blake makes $4 mil a year, Scola nearly $10. I'd rather pay the former than the latter.

But enjoy 2 more years of the #14 pick and getting spurned by every free agent big again.

Right, but then you'd have to pay Jrue if he's any good. And if not, it's a total bust of a trade. But what if they trade for 1 vet expiring and 2 guys like Jrue and both are good? You have to pay them both. Now, you might like this, but the point is that trading bynum doesn't necessarily free up money. It depends.

But I completely disagree on Bynum. I still only move him for D12. Pau, on the other hand, more willing to hear now than prior.

Deron saw how the Mavs treated Barrea, the main cog in their chip squad, and wants no part of them.

Deron "Hollywood" Williams... is a go.

Who are you again? Yet another Heat stan flyby, showing up after wins? Who are you to talk trash if you're not here to take it when your fucking arrogance does not fit the storyline you want to see as a casual unknowledgeable troll?

This dude wants examples of cheating from the Heat. Are you kidding me? Flop culture, the sun must get to them.

Dude's a troll? He painted your asinine post to a tee. Get over it, quit taking everything so personally.

So if the Wiz get the #1 pick,

http://espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=85wgqyu

Lakers get (using Odom trade exception)
Jan Vesely
R. Lewis (expiring in '13-'14)
Anthony Davis

Wiz get
Andrew Bynum
Josh McRoberts

If you're the Wiz, you have to assume that a Nene/Wall/Bynum lineup guarantees you a playoff spot in a weak East.

If you're the Lakers, you get the best player in the draft who is a legit piece to start over with, a project mini-Dirk, and a huge expiring to work with in his second year.
