How do you batch resize AND save as PNG?
I tried making a little script to do that, but it saved them all as PNG with the same filename but 001, 002, 003 at the end, rather than the actual time and date they were taken.
Mind sharing how you do it?
FastStone image viewer (it's free). It's so convenient, and it gives you the lanczos2 filter, which is the best resampling filter I've used so far.
My process is as such:
1. Take all screenshots from a play session and put them in a folder - "C:/screenshots/sleepingdogs/originals/XX" for example
2. Navigate to that folder in FastStone
3. Tools - open batch convert \ rename dialog
4. Add all images from folder to the input list
5. Check:
(I don't rename them, but it gives you some options to if you want)
- used advanced resize - set width to 1920, filter = lanczos2 (sharper)
- set file type to PNG - i use paeth filter max compression - THIS IS STILL LOSSLESS
6. Then I press convert, and output them to the compressed folder for that play session. It will resize them all and save as PNGs
Gotta get some AA all up in that
i was just looking at those and wondering if RAGE vanilla AA is FXAA ?
if so defenitely needs some extra juice through nv inspector.

No. It's not. Something about the lighting\color palette in New Vegas is just ugly. Fallout3 is WAY more receptive to ENB than New Vegas. There are some decent ENBs out there, but sadly, they don't look anywhere near as good as their Fallout 3 counterparts. Is it possible to make New Vegas look like that?
Thanks for the advice! I did some ini tweaks (8k textures, max AF...) Isn't nv inspector just for nvidia cards? I have a amd 6870 and configured the AA settings in the CCC (supersample AA)
It is. Look here - http://www.flickr.com/photos/midhras/8660593304/in/photostream
He's been trying to get on GAF for a looong time. Apparently his school email (with his name in it) isn't even being accepted. Or maybe it was lost in the shuffle. So I told him I'd post a few of his shots here and he actually PMed me the ones to post, and I just posted them without the backstory just to see people's unbiased gut reaction. Guess he thought people would hate his ENB. I think it looks great, and that guy can take damn good screenshots on top of it. So yeah. There's that...
