I'm not sure if he follows the thread or not. I tried not to follow GAF threads while waiting for my account to be accepted because it made the wait more annoying. I want him to be able to post his screens here, as does he. Something tells me his account will be in limbo forever.

No. It's not. Something about the lighting\color palette in New Vegas is just ugly. Fallout3 is WAY more receptive to ENB than New Vegas. There are some decent ENBs out there, but sadly, they don't look anywhere near as good as their Fallout 3 counterparts.

I hope he gets accepted as well. Also yeah, the sign up wait is mind numbing. My first time trying to register, I had to wait a year for a "Not accepted" email! That was frustrating! Then I signed up with my college email once I got to school and it got accepted.

Or go into the Options and turn the Opacity slider all the way to the left.

Most games are a pain in the ass to get rid of the HUD, Skyrim makes it as easy as humanly possible.

I like the UI. I think things like UI are what differentiate this thread from the Corky's Bullshot thread.

I see nothing wrong with postingUI here IMO.

It's literally installing as I type this, one of my favorite games of the gen. Picked up the PC version from Best Buy on my way home from work this morning for $10. Only played on 360 before, I hope the graphics are decent.

I had to do so much INI tweaking for this game to make it not look like utter dogshit. Resolutions higher than 1080p aren't even available from the Options menu.
Looks good once you unfuck all the (extremely low, even by UE3 console port standards) default values for Shadow/Texture resolutions.

I've been able to get almost all the standard UE3 bindings to work, FOV settings, camera lock, "playersonly", etc.
Except that ToggleHUD only removes the tutorial text, not any of the UI elements. WTF?

I can't figure out how to get the HUD to Toggle. It goes away by itself after like 2-3 seconds of being idle and out of combat, but this is hardly optimal for taking good screenshots.

I would gladly like him to do FO3 screenshots here. Getting bored myself. Feels like ENB is maxed out until Boris comes out with more effects. Skyrim has so much more stuff to it.

You should have seen it before tweaking the INI files... You know how Unreal Engine games look when the textures haven't "fully loaded in" yet?

That's what the game looked like, except that was supposed to be normal.

Anyway, ya, it doesn't look amazing. But it's a licensed game that ties into a movie and probably given the budget and time to develop that goes along with that classification of game.

Raven kicked serious fucking ass on Wolverine, considering. It's one of the best licensed games ever made. RIP Raven.

I'd say it's SP is quite large. The editor is so damn in depth, I'm worried . You can build your own missions, including cutscenes even, or download others obviously. And I would honestly consider Screenshotting an actual facet of the game, which is pretty solo.

As far as I know, you can post anything you want here. The only guidelines I've seen people adhere to is the minimum width of 1920 pixels and uncompressed images. How bad the game quality is matters not.

I'll try and wipe away the memory of that thread with some screens. Wei checks his phone in the rain because he doesn't give a shit.

Why the game insists on blurring characters CLOSE to the camera (even if you look right at them) is beyond me. And you can't even turn off Depth of Field. uuugh
