That started loading and I thought "Jesus thats a low quality JPEG" then I saw his dumb mullet and went "Oh Kane and Lynch."

I personally think the game looks pretty unappealing in stills, but for whatever reason I love the aesthetic while the game is in motion. I wouldn't ask to play a game that looks like that often, but I'm glad there's one around.

I bet this game would come off really great in a gif or high quality video.

Because of the aesthetics, does the game benefit from dat cinematic framerate???

Similarly, when I played Slender earlier the res and AA plus the flashlight (resource heavy I guess?) were tanking my fps, but it really worked well with the feel, and made shit way scarier. I played again on a lower res, with a nice smooth fps, and was much less afraid. I guess the only real takeaway is that framerates are interesting.
 
Some very nice screens over the last pages :)

Never played the 3rd installment in the Far Cry series but so far it looks good.It's very immersive playing without HUD but also annoying not knowing what to do most of the time, glad you can switch it on/off :)

You can toggle it on and off in-game now??

Hey so I got it :P.

I have three of the 'Arma Lite' to give out, so if someone wants one, lemme know. Its apparently the game but without the actual multiplayer, so... I guess you could run it and maybe take some screens.
 
I gotta get my no-clip\timestop into Knife of Dunwall so I can screenshot that game properly :) Still got Sleeping Dogs though...

There is something about Alan Wake...
It felt different from every game I played, the lightning it's just so good. And I'm not talking about rendering, but how the scenes are lit. It's not overblown like many other games (Hello godrays, dof and strange lens flares), it's so flat (in a good way),it feels very natural. Nighttime too.
Game's textures are terrible and it's full of low-poly models, but it looks very realistic.

Or maybe it's just the location. I'm a sucker for those old-style, stereotyped little towns surrounded by mountains.

BTW, where can I found this free cam mod?
