It's called widescreen. It makes it feel more like a movie. The Order 1886 does it.
I get about 90fps, so performance isn't a concern.I'll make my question more specific. Are you injecting black bars into the game for that? Because if so, the game is still being rendered in the original resolution so you're just wasting performance. You can actually run the game in that aspect ratio so your screenshots dont have those bars and your FOV is adjusted appropriately.

This 100%. You can render the game itself at a anamorphic resolution and it will grant performance benefits over injection of the bars. You'll still see them, but if you take a screenshot they will be removed. If you really want your shots to have the bars them you can edit them back in once you take them.I'll make my question more specific. Are you injecting black bars into the game for that? Is that KITT from Knight Rider?
Nice shot!
Yet another game in my wishlist that I'll probably get sooner than planned now, art looks great to me in this one, as well.Child of Light / 2160p -> 1080p / Cropped for HUD
I dig it, wouldn't mind seeing more.ENB with no AO isn't too bad

Betrayer has a built in contrast and color calibrator, it's basic stuff but nonetheless fun to tinker around with.
Really like these.
Cool!Yep.
Could you post what ENB you're using?
Wesker's in Fallout NV confirmed!
You haven't had any CTD's with GeDoSaTo and cheat engine? Do you swap resolutions when taking screenshots or run the game at those resolutions constantly? I noticed crashes more frequently when transitioning.GeDoSaTo has some post processing options similar to SweetFX (which can also be toggled on and off). I've been playing with the bloom, shapening, gamma and contrast. Would be nice if it had LiftGammGain as well.
