Wow, there are some cool Minecraft shots in the last couple of pages.

$0.99 screenshot time, Crash Time 2, 4x or 8xSGSSAA shots, cropped to remove black bars and replay controls.

Wow these actually look pretty great (At a glance no doubt)

Textures and models could obviously be better.

But the lighting and composition of the shots look really good


CM Shots look amazing as well. I've always loved the CM minus the ridiculous character models (And the new gun models or whatever he introduced sometime back which felt pointless to me.). But like the music you know, they are entirely optional.

I managed to find a way to replace the horrendous stock AO in PoP Forgotten Sands with Inspector. The Sniper: Ghost Warrior 2 profile works perfectly. It doesn't bleed through fog or anything. Check out the difference.



Anyway ... the really cool thing is it also works for Sands of Time, and I'm hoping for the other two games, as well. Haven't tested them yet.

You can make screenshots without the hud by pressing F11. The screenshots are saved in the games folder.
You can also cycle through interface modes by pressing Ctrl+~ (Brief/detail/off).

GeDoSaTo's breathing new life into another last gen favorite of mine. Dead Space has never looked better, especially while in motion, the shimmer is all but gone.

6K (16:10 5760x3600 -> 1920x1200), Ultra FXAA, 50-60fps:

Will try some 8K and 12K next, not to mention, get Dead Space 2 reinstalled, as well.

My personal recommendation is the Crysis Expanded mod. Changes TOD, adds a lot of details to scenes, upgrades textures, etc etc. I combined that with Rygels high res textures.

Expanded mod has an in-game popup menu where you can tweak different settings and turn features on and off too.

Sorry, forgot to add how to do that. It's actually a registry tweak.

Open regedit, go to HKEY_CURRENT_USER>SOFTWARE>UBISOFT>PRINCE OF PERSIA>1.0>ENGINE and change Post Effects from 2 to 1. Turning it to 0 gives you some weird shadow artifacts, 1 just turns off AO.

I was using 5120x2880 via GeDoSaTo including SMAA; hotswapping from a 60FPS 1080p. Occassionally this would crash the game though when changing resolutions...time consuming when your at the end of the level. Screenshooting tools by jim2point0 here.

Sorry, I didn't take any shots at all while playing "A Wolf Among Us", too story driven and lack of free cam decided this. Really love the aesthetic though and highly recommend a play through.

No idea what is going on here (other than someone about to get destroyed!) but love the shot!

I'm quite far into it now, chapter 8 I think. It really grabbed me once the battle tactics and environments started to open up a bit. The visuals are insanely pretty too.

Thanks, that may be the first time someone has ever complimented one of my screenshots!

For 85 cents I can't complain too much. I agree that the daytime lighting was the main thing that caught my eye. Even with completely maxed out settings, the reflections and shadows can look pretty bad, and there are some really glaring low-resolution things. You can see the very low-resolution bridge with the baked-in greenery, right next to the decent road and modeled greenery.

If I play more and unlock some more areas I plan to take some more shots. I did at least spend quite a while taking picture and trying to do some decent composition or perspectives, so I'm glad someone liked them.
