How did you make Gunslinger look so good? I tried downsampling and SMAA and the game still looked super jaggy. Not that it really matters because now the game crashes every time I try to start it.
Bringing these to the new page because I liked them a lot =p
I liked the first one. I actually respawned Seath with Cheat Engine and used a homeward bone after setting my bonfire location to his battle arena. When I arrived, he was just sitting there looking at me. Made it easier to grab a few shots
I feel like Seath is the highlight of the game. Such a beautifully designed enemy. Can't imagine anything topping him.
When I first faced Seath I was honestly pretty underwhelmed because I was instantly on full defense mode and didn't take any time to really appreciate the design.
But once you actually stop and take a good look at him, it's a really interesting design for a boss. I really love the wings
Wow. Still so much aliasing even at 8K O_O
These are from 8k? There is still alot of aliasing... Also how are you running it at 8k?
Those legs, uh...First time I see that Copperhead character. She was a nice boss fight.

What shield is that?
What shield is that?
Great DkS shots as always. Love the pointing at Priscilla shot a lot.
Ah okay, figured it was a mod. And yeah I know it was neoenigma, I was speaking generally. Always dig those gorgeous Dark Souls shots. As much as I would LOVE to take credit for the Priscilla shot, that belongs to Neoenigma, not myself!
The shield is the Cauduceus Kite Shield but I'm using a texture mod to make it fit my characters armor better.

Wow, you can respawn enemies with the techojacker/freecam table? Tell me more!

does DS still requires GFWL to play?
I made a custom 4k resolution in "Nvidia control Panel" and then used game's built in downsampling method "DSX6" turned on, which technically in reality should be much higher than 8k!
For example if my resolution was set at 1080p (1920x1080) and DSX was set at DSX4 then it would multiply that rez four times giving you 4k!
What did you downsample the resulting image with?
Maybe it's the games downsampling solution then that is creating the problem before it's delivered to your display resolution because it shouldn't look that aliased with that much resolution.
Another game with built in downsampling Trine 2 works great and the filter is actually an adjustable bicubic filter.
As an example
I ran the game at 3200x1800 with 4xSSAA (2x2) with FXAA
Here is the game's delivered result to the monitor http://i.minus.com/iA7axs9H328xL.png
And here is the raw original 6400x3600 with FXAA (Had to be converted to level 12 JPG for file size requirements of minus.com) http://i.minus.com/iz54DOGF5isO4.jpg
Here is the 3200x1800 image downsampled again to my monitor resolution of 1600x900 via bicubic http://i.minus.com/iFuxx1kpjU3G7.png
and the raw 6k image downsampled the same way http://i.minus.com/iQpD7T8yfkej.png
For fun no AA http://i.minus.com/ibrJ0vAQOpHkGj.png
(Perhaps PCars just needs something like a Toksvig map http://www.selfshadow.com/sandbox/gloss.html)
It's gotta be the downsampling method if the results being returned are so bad.
Yep!
In the flags section there is a "Boss defeated" flag. You can toggle any of the bosses as alive again and when you enter the Area they'll be there again.
I play on a 4k tv, so my resolution is set at 4k, but i was using the game's built in dowsampling method!
Here is one with no DS, only 4xMSAA and 4x Sparse Grid Supersampling, i think it looks a lil bit better (but still not as clean as some other pCARS pic's i've seen) what do you guys think?
Are you running in DX11? Enhanced SGSSAA? That would explain why SGSSAA doesn't seem to be working perfectly in this shot.(Or maybe the PCars devs really just need to take a long hard look at this http://mynameismjp.wordpress.com/2013/07/28/siggraph-follow-up/ ) IQ wise looks great
And once the image is downsampled though it looks amazing. Cleans up the aliasing better than other methods i've seen.

Its clean enough, and it even runs 40~50 fps.
There is SFX as well. Gaussian bloom is nice to offset the game's occasional 'clinical' look.
...anyway..
Holy mother of god!!!MrR
My V-Ram doubled on all of my cards from 2600+ to 5300+, also GPU usage is 99% all across. Here's 2 pic's in native 4k, no downsampling, just 4xMSAA & 4xSGSAA!
DS from 1800p
Oh shit man. The game looks really damned good!
Is there any good Freecam and NoHud Mod for NFS Hot Pursuit? Something similar you guys use for Most Wanted?
