I came so close to winning my friends pool last year, but came in nearly last place on my GAF pool. This year I think I'll make both brackets the same.

No joke, I just filled out a bracket with a Kansas/Wichita St. Final. I'm not from Kansas either.

Yeah, a friend saw those ESPN picks and declared it MSU's death sentence. We'll see, hopefully they don't get cocky and overconfident. I'm sure Izzo will be doing his best to keep them in check.
That's how it is every year, going straight from the Big Ten tourney to the first NCAA tournament game. I don't see any grand consistent pattern between their success in the former compared to the latter. Sometimes they perform great in both tournaments, sometimes neither, and sometimes in only one. But hey, MSU previously won the Big Ten three times, and that resulted in a Sweet Sixteen appearance, Final Four appearance, and of course a National Championship.
Wow, picked Florida to win it all...against Creighton.
Michigan State and Michigan were my other Final Fours. Almost had WSU instead of Michigan. I think I know which one I took a gamble on.

This taught me that I like New Mexico and Creighton in the E8 and Wichita State to make the championship game.
Edit: And Wofford over Michigan, somehow.

Got UCLA, Virginia, Wichita State, San Diego State, Wichita State > Virginia. Hmm.
I put Providence in the Final Four. Hehe, we'll see about that. Otherwise I'm happy.

James Young slip away from beating Florida. Had a few steps on his defender going to his strong hand on that last play.
Also lost by only 4 points to a current darling, Michigan State. In fact, of our ten losses 8 of them were by 5 points or fewer (1, 2, 4, 4, 5, 5, 5, 5) and the other 2 were to Florida.
Yeah, lots of tough ones. And I noticed watching the replay yesterday that James Young slipped right where the chairs were during our timeout. Probably slipped on some damn Gatorade or something :lol
