Be afraid of Michigan State. That team looks like one of Izzo's standard final four run teams and they have a fairly easy bracket. What the heck was the selection committee thinking in the midwest? That bracket is way too loaded.

I know, right? NM got robbed with that 7 seed.

You're right, but Kentucky's strength of schedule is third in the nation behind only Kansas and Wisconsin. They played plenty of great competition. And of course conference strength being a major factor for tournament success will always be one of the most overblown myths of college basketball.

I mean I don't like UK's chances of a deep run, don't get me wrong, but I think Vegas has it about right with UK as a 5 point favourite.

K State lost by 27 to NIT bound Georgetown and 7 to 17-14 Charlotte. The mighty Big 12 was the least of their worries.
