Fuck it, I'm done. This isn't even worth watching the whole way through. Made it 20 minutes or so?

Pretty sure this is going to drop quite a bit next week.

Impressive start for Young Sheldon, which is a surprisingly sweet show, and a lot more subdued than The Big Bang. Loved the moments between Sheldon and his parents. Impressive casting as well, Zoe Perry is of course the perfect Momma Cooper and we know Iain Armitage would be good, but Raegan Revord and Montana Jordan are great. If anything, they are really the ones bringing the laughs.

Finally got around to the pilot of Gotham and it was really solid. Many great things going on, and David Mazouz has totally grown into the role of Bruce Wayne at this point.

Ok I'm like 10 minutes into The Good Doctor and it's pretty shit other than Freddie Highmore. So about what I expected.

I like Freddie Highmore a lot and the show is an abominable piece of shit. Emotionally manipulative, poorly written, exploitative of Autism-as-Superpower, and the actual procedural element wasn't very interesting in the pilot. The flashback scenes with the brother were laughable. And it was overscored. And oddly religious, which makes sense if you recognize it was an adaptation of a K-Drama, but a little forced in the context it did exist in.

I just wish he would actually....grow. I keep hoping that the producers will pair him up with a personal trainer at some point. Dude would be knocked over with a stiff wind.

Yeah, I was honestly kind of shocked at how bad it was. Their exploitation and dumbing down of autism was something I'd expect to see 20 years ago, not today. Absolute garbage. And I'm someone who was cool with hate-watching Under the Dome and Emerald City.

Predictions

Lethal Weapon - 1.4
Brooklyn 99 - 1.0
The Mick - 1.1

This Is Us - 3.0
Law & Order: True Crime - 2.3

EDIT: Damn, This Is Us already one of the top trends on Twitter and it isn't even on yet. NBC must be happy as heck, tonight will be huge.

Damn shame that The Brave underperformed. It looks a lot better than what The Last Ship is doing these days, or that awful Six special ops show on the History Channel.

Did you watch it...?

Yep. I found it to be decent to generally inoffensive, which is really all I want in a competence porny-procedural, especially one like The Unit. Plus the diversity in the field team is a genuinely good thing. Can't say I found anything to outright hate or cringe at like I did in Designated Survivor or The Blacklist, and unlike the forthcoming Seal Team it didn't tease a romantic entanglement between the married lead SEAL and the lady spook (excuse me while I hurl).

It's no Strike Back (which I still had some huge problems with) but it's not that atrocious either.

Yeah I do like the team set up so far,
Im going to give it a few episodes at least.

However im looking more forward to Seal Team now.

I'm pretty cool on SEAL Team thanks to that moment in the reveal trailer where it kind of seems like married David Boreanz was going to be making eyes at the lead spy lady. Also all the "family at home" drama. Do not want.

For some reason I thought Young Sheldon was going to be a bit more comedic. It wasn't a bad episode but the show didn't keep any strong interest from me. What is the regular night for it? Seems next week its not in the same time slot.

Episode 2 doesn't air for another month (November 2).

You mean the original starring Richard Armitage and Andrew Lincoln? :p

I never watched that season, the show started for me with Stonebridge and Scott.

Yeah that has me nervous but I im interested as it seemingly has the theme of "authentic" generic military which personally is semi-unique.
I was disappointed The Brave(at least e1) was more of a generic spy type set up which is/was a more common type of show.

Until the episode before last episode I really wasn't digging this season of The Last Ship, so I wouldn't mind an additional bit of that niche.

Sweet jeebsus, This is Us is a monster of a hit.
Lethal Weapon seems to have lost nothing in the move.

Batteries the CRISIS!
Move over, The Voice, This Is Us is coming on

The Mick is soft af

Law & Order: True Crime premiered pretty decently — ahead of perennial sort-of juggernaut NCIS, at least.

Jeez, did people just throw their TVs out the window when This Is Us was over? Lol

I was too bullish on Fox's lineup and not enough on NBC's Mega Smash Hit THIS IS US

Batteries the CRISIS!
Somehow, NCIS still has half a million more viewers than This Is Us, haha

Must have the oldest demographic in all of network TV

Hm, do I need to start watching This is Us? Saw part of an episode on an airplane and it didn't seem bad. So many people tuning in sort of makes me want to check it out even more.

Aiii

So not worth it

Dear god yes, you should have been watching this from the pilot.

Holy shit! NBC should've kept This is Us on Thursdays instead of putting it back on Tuesdays at the last minute. They clearly don't need The Voice helping it.

Looks like it didn't help the Menedez Brothers special though. Lol.
