Just had a quick browse, and yeah they're filming on location in London.

http://www.thelocationguide.com/blo...filming-space-as-tv-tax-credit-boosts-demand/

Film London has made 1.25 million square feet of additional filming space available in the English capital. The move is a response to heightened demand since the launch of the UK’s TV tax credit earlier this year, a move that has attracted big-budget productions including 24: Live Another Day.

...

Iain Smith is a producer on 24: Live Another Day and added: “From my experience, the US creatives are inspired as they have a whole new field to play on. They did not choose London just because of the tax reliefs, although they are obviously a vital financial incentive which triggered them to consider London, but they are bringing the show here because of what the city has to offer – it is a fantastic destination.

Hilariously, it's now cheaper for them to film on location in London than in LA. But yeah, rest assured, it will not be CGI. They're doing this for real. Kiefer and the production team will be here for a good while, secondary team in LA.

Even though he only appeared in a few episodes, I still think that John Quinn from Season 7 was one of Jack's greatest foes. What a freaking amazing character and also one of the few reasons why I enjoyed Season 7 along with the Hakeem Kae-Kazim who played Dubaku.

Most of Season 7 was great, but the White House story and pretty much everything after
Jack got infected
sorta fell flat. Those last few hours might be my least favorite stretch of the series.

And while we're ranking things, Presidents:

David Palmer >> Charles Logan >>>> Noah Daniels > >>>>>>>>>>Wayne Palmer >>>>> John Keeler > Jim Prescott for an hour >>>>>>>>>>>> Allison Taylor

Did they ever say what happened to Wayne Palmer?

This is awesome, really looking forward to this. And really glad to hear that Gordon is looking to make this into an actual series if it does well enough.

Is there any word on Aaron Pierce (Glenn Morshower) returning? Hope to see him again, always loved his character.

Of course, there is no 24 without Agent Pierce showing up in each season, the only character beside Jack to do so...

Should probably not trust the 7-11 security cameras quite so much

He didn't appear in season 8. How much better would it have been if Pierce helped Jack go after Logan instead of that random Michael Madsen character?

I love Aaron Pierce; his friendship with D. Palmer was special and heartwarming. Just have him show up randomly being fed fruit by Martha Logan again. He, like many of us, clearly took note of her glories during Day 5 (mildly nsfw):

It'll be interesting to see if the Logans or Suvarovs come into play, given we should be at war with Russia after what went down in S8. Charles Logan achieved deity status last season. I kinda don't want to see him again unless the entire season, movie, or mini-series revolves around him in a major way.

The Wire alum Gbenga Akinnagbe and Giles Matthey (Jobs) have been cast in the next chapter in the 24 franchise that will be set and filmed in London.

Akinnagbe, repped by Silver Lining and Nelson Davis Wetzstein, will play the much-easier-to-pronounce Erik Ritter, a strong, sharp, arrogant and ambitious CIA field operative. He has recurred on The Good Wife, Nurse Jackie and Graceland.

Matthey, repped by Gersh, Untitled and Independent Talent UK, will play Jordan Reed, a smart and sophisticated CIA computer tech. He previously recurred on True Blood.

For all of the excitement the show has given me over the years, i will be critical of it for one moment... occasionally the writing was a bit puzzling. Even though "damn it" was a Jack Bauer phrase... most characters gradually uttered it to vent frustration (i know it's due to the limitations caused by being on a tv network and such).

But also the whole "what are you talking about" phrase, that was said a lot during the series' run and not just by Jack.

Also it didn't matter who the "director" of CTU was, they were all written the same way. I picked up on the way the person assumed the role (whether it was George, Tony, Jack, Michelle, Bill etc). They all had the same "tone" in their voice, i figure it was the way they were directed to do it and speaking as though they were highly important. But it was still surprising to me that they would each carry the same pattern in terms of the way they spoke (when speaking on the phone for example and saying "to whom am i speaking").

They seemed to reuse characters first and last names quite a bit throughout the series run. Both the small roles (ie: an Agent Paulson in season 1, a Dr Paulson in season 5 etc), and even other roles that aided plot devices (Maureen KINGSLEY in season 1, Peter KINGSLEY in season 2 - plenty of other examples available).

Another bizarre thing (to me at least) was how similar a few characters looked, both in physical appearance and also the way the character was dressed. They looked similar to how another character looked in a past season.

The hired goon that drove a red car and went to the safehouse in season 1 and Yusuf Auda from season 2
Maureen Kingsley season 1 - Carrie (the chick that was at CTU) in season 2.
Alan York in season 1 - Eddie in season 2
Gary Matheson season 2 - Andrew Paige season 4
Alan York/Kevin Carrol season 1 - Eddie Grant season 2

Oh lord give me strenght to watch s6, all that family drama and the kid awful acting, what to do skip it?

Watch the first half of the season, then just skip it. Season 6 is so utterly terrible, the family drama is absurd.

If there's not some significant interaction with MI5/6 in this I'll be disappointed. No point in going to London if you don't. Get Jack into Thames House!

I hated her on Dexter, lets hope that was just part of the shittyness that was the final 2 years of Dexter and not her acting ability.

Wait, I did not know Audrey was in this. I skipped out on most of season 8 but the last I saw of her she was brainwashed by the Chinese or some shit to just repeat "help me Jack" over and over. Me and my friend both thought that was hilarious. Will tune in for sure now.

Edit: also hyped that
Carlos Bernard is might be returning

Indeed,
Tony's
treatment was always a sore spot for me. They deserved a better send off.
Both times.
