So while setting the DVR for Thursday I noticed the episode title... Is this just two 30 minute episodes in a row or a single hour long episode? Just asking because of the semicolon in the title.

The tightness of a 13 episode season is really evident with 30 Rock this season. As it almost always is with nearly every series on FX.

Production-wise, I believe they're listed as 7.12 and 7.13, but since they're labeled as "Series Finale Part 1" and "Series Finale Part 2" I'd assume they knew both were going to air on the same night.

Can we just use this thread to relive the magic of seven perfect seasons?

"Betrayal, colon, what really happened with my baseball team, comma, disaster at knuckle beach, question mark."

This poster pulses with an appeal so broad the typical restraints of our societies fall by the wayside.
Oh my god, Ben and Jerry's is releasing a 30 Rock inspired flavor. Details will be released Thursday.

Less than 24 hours to go! I wonder what they're going to do in the finale. Last week would have been a perfect finale. I don't know how they're going to drag it out two more episodes.

I hope they reference Kenneth's immortality one last time. I don't think they've mentioned it at all this year. There should be a flash forward to Kenneth still being the NBC President two or three hundred years from now.

Series finale tonight.
Hogcock!; Last Lunch

As Jack takes stock of his life, Liz struggles with her new role as a stay-at-home mother; Kenneth settles into his new job; the cast and crew come together for one last episode of TGS.

I watched the first 5 seasons, but only recently caught up to the show and to my surprise this will be the last episode! I hope they go out with a bang.

you speak so well
I'm both so excited and incredibly sad for tonight. The end of the funniest comedy on TV, at least it's going out on a fucking fantastic season.

"A puppy committed suicide after he saw our bathroom.

I once bit into a burrito and there was a child’s shoe in it.

I’ve seen a hooker eat a tire.

A pack of wild dogs took over and successfully ran a Wendy’s."

I'm really sad about the end. 30 Rock is the first network series where I watched for years and was not cancelled prematurely.

...and that, kids, was the first time I sucked a dick for crack
Watching repeats of 30 Rock right now on Comedy Central.

The episode with James Franco and his love pillow just ended...wow. That was easily one of the top 20 for this show. It gets overlooked way too often.

Jack Burditt (writer) tweeted that people should add time to their DVRs to make sure they record the full tag.

God, I'll miss this show T_T

I was watching the episode where Devon Banks was first introduced. Jack told Kenneth that he can have Devon's job in the future. Kenneth quickly pointed out to the janitor beside him and said, "Or his job!"

Wow, not sure if it's intentional or not, but that's some foreshadowing right there.

"Fine. Yes. I’m literate. I even have a column in Ebony magazine called 'Musings.'"

Damn, I just rewatched season 1 and his delivery kills me every time.

What shall we do without this show? No sitcom comes close these days, except Veep, maybe - but it will never be the same.

Still, glad it remained strong until the end.

Either last season or the one before I stopped watching the show because they were focusing so many episodes on Tracey Morgan and the blonde girl, I just don't care for them much and felt like the quality of the show overall wasn't up there anymore. I loved the show for Jack and Liz, in the last couple seasons where has the show been in terms of who gets the most screen time?

Tracy and Jenna certainly got spotlighted more often than Liz for a while there but Liz and Jack (along with Tracy, Jenna, Kenneth, son on) have all had immensely satisfying stuff going on this season.
great but the best moment in it isn't even Jack, it's Liz's "Yes, may I please speak to Pizza."
