80s style synth-pop/electro synth/cyberpunk music

This is some good stuff.

Except that second track. I am probably in the minority here, but for some reason I only really enjoy this sort of music when it's instrumental (save for maybe a sample or something). The cheesy female vocals are just a bit too much for me.

You're not alone, I much prefer instrumental other than a few exceptions. Has anybody listened to Jon of the Shred, it has some added electric guitar? Will post some when I get home from the hairdressers (almost my turn, not that I care I'm listening to Lazerhawk)

Anyone know any artists that sound similar to Judge Bitch or Perturbator? With mostly instrumental tracks?

Thunderground by Judge Bitch is my jam (and my ringtone)

Well, there's :

Powerglove - Vengeance

Grooveworthy - PantherForce V

LazerHawk - King of the Streets

Rain Sword - Heart of Light

Mega Drive - Dataline

Kavinsky - 1986

Dorian - Dance With the Dead

Kalax - Journey

I have just posted their name and an example of their music, it's easier to look up their other work yourself.

Here's some Jon of the Shred :

Jon of the Shred - Camp Terror

Jon of the Shred - Infiltration

Jon of the Shred - Disintegrate (Dissolve 2)

YES! New Danger EP!
How many years has it been since he released something (not remixes).

Well, idk about anything under the Danger moniker, but he is also Sunset and he released something under Sunset at the tail end of 2013, but I haven't listened to it so I can't say if it's a lot like Danger.

Heard a mate play this in his set tonight, may have been posted before but it has a slightly different vibe to all the other tracks in this thread... it's a bit lighter and a bit less "driving a car past buildings with fluorescent lights at night in the 80s":
Zombies in Miami - Diamonds (Phunktastike Remix)

Apologies for the Beatport-only download, sadly not on YT or SC :/

Been listening to this pretty great compilation, free on bandcamp. Apparently I've bought something from this bandcamp before (that I don't remember) because I got an email about this this morning.

Big Apple Crime Force

Nice, thanks.

I have bought quite a lot from there and didn't have an email. Time to check my junk folder.

Edit: By free, you mean pay what you want right?

Huh? What did I say? Did I screw up again? :(
I'm not sure if they're relevant in this thread but as a person who likes this kind of music, I naturally sought out this group at some point in what felt like a natural evolution:

Underworld - Beaucoup Fish

WARNING: The album has a different energy than most electronic music that builds up in layers through the album.

That artwork is amazing.
:lol yeah, it's great. And pretty much every track is nice. Plus the description is hilarious:

As the wind blows heavy through to the littered, unlit streets of New Your City, salty rain hits the face of Jack Foredice. Returning from his cannibal-laden mission down in the 305, he finds his beloved city that never sleeps, rapidly rotten to the core… Hiding in a tunnel blasted open underneath the Statue of Liberty, a colony of restless survivors hide in fear of new attacks by The Knights of Yuroba, a shapeshifting gang of ruthless killers on the prowl for anything from rats to jewellery. Like a worm crawling through an apple, the big city is ruled by gangs and vermin, imposing fear through plunder and murder. It's a last man standing situation on the verge of escalating into fatal morbidity. A crew of forefront rebels, complete with a ravishing ape beast, have been assigned by detective Foredice to cleanse the poisoned apple. Will Foredice prevail? And what about the appearance of the mysterious motorbike ninja who keeps leaving chalked insignia all over the place? All this and much more…here in 2014's BIG APPLE CRIME FORCE.

Really tempting to come check this stuff out sometime. It's just a little boatride from Tallinn, after all.

the Perturbator album release party would be a good one then!

we are also looking at new venues for the international artists to play in, the current one doesn't really support live music or loud playing at high volume :D So any of the upcoming Waveshaper, Arc Neon or Dynatron live gigs ought to be worth coming over.

So, this was a referral from that Barretso track, but I'm really digging the style. It's a bit punchier and breakier than the stuff that traditionally fits into this thread, but I dig it all the same. It's almost like a ghetto version of it... kinda:
WAT - "Kill Kill feat. CS Rucker"

Also, I posted this on the last page but I dunno if anyone checked it out. But I'm-a post it here again because it has a different kinda vibe again which I still dig :)
