Are you outside of the US? I did the whole pre-order of everything (box set, cd, vinyl, shirt) and still haven't gotten an update on when I should expect it. I'm in the US btw.

Album pre-release party in Helsinki probably.

Yeah, im the head organizer for the event. We had a blast yesterday :) two VJ's made awesome visuals and the whole album was being played for the first time publicly.

Oh shit, so it's out in the wild? Will probably leak soon.

No public copies yet so atleast from our end it should be safe :D orders are going out next week.

Saw the threadtitle, came here to post about Perturbator, am not disappointed. I NEED this! His (is it a he, a she or is it a band?) music is so freaking good! Ever since I heard Retrogenesis I'vee been listening to stuff from Perturbator. I think there's also some stuff from Perturbator on the OST of Hotline Miami.

3 more Dangerous Days CD boxsets available here. That seems to be the last of them, period unless there's a future pressing. Now he needs to do the same for his earlier albums.

As solid and amazing as Perturbator is, going over that Bandcamp page I think I prefer Waveshaper's smoother, less aggressive vibes. But that's just a personal thing, Perturbator is definitely more creatively and productively impressive.

O my god I found the GAF Perturbator support group. Dude is so good, can't wait for his next album.

Other favourites are Lazerhawk and Betamaxx. They're not as gritty as Perturbator though.

Love his sampling tastes, too. Dude samples from the English dub of Wicked City? Props in my book.

Good choices! And yeah, Perturbator is almost electro-industrial in genre :D

Perturbator is still my favorite, but I love them all to be honest. As long as they don't sound too modern. I like Kavinsky, but some of his songs sound too recent for my tastes, especially on the Outrun album.

Outrun was really disappointing.

I don't know why exactly, but the album was really boring to me. It felt like I was listening to the same stuff on his EP's that have been out for years. Even the new songs. Just dull. And too much guitar for me.

I agree, but I personally love some guitar with these songs, Jon of the Shred and Lazerhawk being two good examples. It was some of the singing and samples that really let it down for me.

To echo some of the statements above:

Lazerhawk is indeed one of the top synthwave artists out there. My favorite tracks:

Overdrive
Visitors
Arrival
These Streets

Chromatics is not pure synthwave but they are absolutely brilliant, much like any project Johnny Jewel is a part of. Kill For Love was probably my favorite album of 2012 (along with Visitors actually).

Outrun was a disappointment for me as well. Too much recycled content from years-old EPs, and most of the new songs are a miss. It's weird because Kavinsky is what got me into this genre, and now he's known by the mainstream and riding high with an album I don't care for.

It was brought up in one of the Dredd threads or an earlier 'W,AYLT?' threads. Great album. Really wish this had be used as the films ST

Maybe in the sequel.

Which might happen if all of you bastards join the "Make a Dredd Sequel" FB group! ;)

Sheeeeeeesh, that 4th track. And the vocals on that 6th.

Album is surprisingly uplifting though. Needs more darkness!

it's already listed in Spotify :D
(need to have MP3's to be able to listen to them though)

03. Raw Power is probably my favourite track, great use of chiptune.
08. Humans are such easy prey probably my second favourite if i need to make picks.
Great album through and through thou as i've said! :)

So a while back someone in here posted about this "Moments Lost" Indiegogo project: https://www.indiegogo.com/projects/moments-lost

I funded it back when it was up and they just sent out the finished digital download to backers. Gotta say, it's pure cyberpunk greatness. It's very faithful to Vangelis' original Blade Runner soundtrack, but it still manages to sound original and not copy it too overtly.

I know this is an obnoxious thing to do, but bump for the new page!
