Wow, what a line up. Would kill to see Waveshaper live, do they perform in the states at all? Strong poster work btw, looks great.
I've been listening to the three Dance With The Dead albums on repeat for the last three days.
I really want to download/buy some some of the better song selections in this genre/group. I don't suppose you guys have a comprehensive list of a 'best of' or something similar that the community has agreed that you can point me to do you? Having listened to electro music in a while, really want to get back into it but a lot of the shit in clubs makes me feel like an old timer when I still listen to older Armin, Benny, and similar.
I already have Hotline Miami OST and Kavinsky albums but I'd love to have more songs to listen to.
not really, but you can peruse what i have bought myself, i dont buy any bad ones
http://bandcamp.com/noisepurge
and on that note, i could make a "current top 10 albums" list even to entertain myself, others should do similar ones
Appreciated, will give songs a listen to see what I like.
Two recent tracks I dig:
The Fauns - 4am (Power Glove Remix)
Moskva-Kassiopeya- Runaway (feat. Julia Marks)
with a delicious cover too!
Downloaded some of the music I was linked to, my wallet is gonna hurt by the time I'm done with that huge list lol.
Haha, same here! First time i came in this thread i left with a lot of music to buy. When i came back, there was a crater in my wallet xD
this soundcheck clip is all that you can view without actually being at our club!

Thanks!NeonVice interview with Waveshaper & Robert Parker regarding our gig, includes arecording of the intro they played http://neonvice.com/ws_rp_interview.html(crappy) cellphone
I'm not quite sure, it should be one of Waveshaper's tracks or it's an unreleased one.
public service announcement,
Perturbator Glow in the Dark vinyls, T-shirts and signed posters go on sale in 10 minutes from this post. 3PM UK-time or so. edit: (vinyls and signed posters sold out)

I managed to buy two copies of the 3d-anaglyph vinyls, I was late to the glow-in-the-dark party, sadly.
Perturbator is turning into quite the rockstar, isn't he?
Limited edition signed posters, haha.
The Dance with the Dead people have released three albums in one year. Wow. When's the next one? I've only listened to DWTD for the last few days and I'm not getting tired of it, and I want more.
Can anyone recommend any other albums/artists with a similar vibe to DWTD? There's something about DWTD that scratches an itch I didn't know I had.
I was just going to post that I've been listening to Dance with the Dead all of yesterday for the first time and it really is great. One of the tracks made me go back to Miami Nights 1984, but they aren't entirely the same. I just love that song. The Dance with the Dead people have released three albums in one year. Wow. Carpenter Brut has a similar high octane, dark 80s vibe, in my opinion. Not the same but similar. Brut and DWTD are the two things I listen to the most, these days.

Wow. I think I've found a new genre that I want to listen to.
Hell, I want to start MAKING music like this.
As much as I like it, anyone have recommendations that sound the same, but slightly less 80's? Or something a bit more 'cheerful' or 'upbeat' sounding at the very least?
Not at all this genre but since you don't want something eighties sounding and upbeat, try Serph. Very upbeat, that particular album is quite fun.As much as I like it, anyone have recommendations that sound the same, but slightly less 80's?
