All you dream synth lovers get in here.

I said cottdamn.

Just wanted to say thanks for mentioning this here, loving it.

Everything is very listenable, I have a few favourites though :

Sebastian Gampl - Hold Her (the bell synth in full force in this, so good !)
Absinth3 - I'll Be There (feat. Lucy Fox)
Stilz - Meant To Be
SelloRekT /LA Dreams - All I'm Living For (I'm seeing Van Damme walking alone in the street in a cheesy martial arts movie with this one, perfect)
Robert Parker - Mad Love
VHS Dreams - Bliss
De Lorra - Lost (maybe my favourite, the guy has only 8 tracks or so on his soundcloud ! Hope he produces more sound)
Glass Apple Bonzai - Wicked Fire (Jazzi's Theme)
Timecop1983 - Forever and Ever

I rarely add so much tracks to my 80's playlist at once, so that's remarkable !

Alright, well here are some four I made. Ordered oldest to newest, so maybe you can hear some evolution in sound.

Astral Wing
Made as a 'theme' of a shadowrun character, a bird shaman or something like that.

Circuits and Meat
Another shadowrun character theme, this time a 'sugoi' hacker character. if you get my meaning.

Lagrange Point Station
This one was for fun. This one is my personal favourite of my neo80s sounds.

Pass the Exosphere
Another one for fun

Cool tracks ! Definitely appreciate the drums and synths, you should continue to explore that kind of sound !
What tools do you use to make them ?

Thank you, I just spent a few hours listening to this stuff :)

Cluster Buster: Too soundtrack-y, couldn't listen to the whole thing.
Megadrive: Had potential, but seems all over the place. Ultimately, didn't click with me.
Atrey: Had potential, but again it didn't do anything for me.
Umberto: Annoyed me :/ Only got about halfway through, some of the sounds used sound..."cheap" too, if that makes sense to you.
Irving Force: I like the sound. Didn't like the songs :(

Maybe you're looking for the genre to be more metal-like. I love it because it's not. I love spacey-synth the most. Check out Dynatron's Aeternus.

Any word on the new Perturbator's release date? :/

On the 27th of January, Perturbator posted "I promise that the wait will be over VERY soon" on his Facebook page, soooo...any day now?

I've been listening to DWTD's new album the last couple of days, and while it didn't immediately win me over, it started to click after a few listens. I guess it took a bit longer for the melodies to get etched into my brain because most weren't as instantly hummable as they were in previous albums.

It's my third favourite DWTD album (behind Out Of Body and Near Dark). Diabolic is the track I dig the most. It reminds me a bit of Zombie Night, one of the best tracks from Out Of Body.

That's pretty much my list as well. Love that comp.
De Lorra is best newcomer I've heard in a while, maybe I'm just a sucker for that slow heavy beat. He sounds like a combination of Sellorekt and Timecop. I'm really really looking forward to more of his stuff.
That also reminds me, I haven't kept up with Sellorekt's albums since late 2014. He churns them out almost monthly and there's always an 10/10 track or two in each.

To a degree, I suppose. Gunship & 23rd Underpass don't contain any...metal-isms, and I dig them both a lot. They do however remind me a lot of '80s Pop (duh) which I do have a fondness for some of too :p

4 songs in, that Dynatron isn't bad actually. I don't know if I'll become a fan, but it's certainly the best (of this type of music) I've heard over the past 2 or 3 days.

Well, Blood Music (the label) is on holiday until March. So no news for the next 3 weeks.

Never heard of a label taking a holiday. LOL. Interesting.

Also, it hit me that, since he's on a proper metal label, it could be that they'll announce the album, with a cover art and limited edition deals and what not a few months before the release itself? It's usually how it is. Maybe we'll get the album around April?

Label is just one guy :D He manually packages and ships each order too. He needs a break once a year.

They usually announce stuff well in advance and the new album will have atleast 3 different configurations on vinyl.

Dynatrons Throttle Up EP is my favourite of his.

This time I'm definitely buying a vinyl. Even if I don't have a record player.

FL studio and a bunch of different software like DEXED and a newer one I don't remember the name of. Made to emulate the old hardware, so they sound fairly legit in my opinion.

Since someone else did it, I'm going to post a song I made in the style that I'm pretty happy with. Ignore the picture

Don't be ashamed of your mad gains bra.

Seriously though, pretty good tune!

Perturbator "The Uncanny Valley" [2016]

PRE-ORDER: early March, 2016.

RELEASE: May 6th, 2016.

ARTWORK: Ariel ZB

Continuing in the same story thread as previous works, Perturbator's fourth album "The Uncanny Valley" takes place 24 years after the finale of "Dangerous Days." Focus shifts from the world of Nocturne City into the future alleys of Tokyo, after the conclusion of the War Against Machines.

This story is your story - you are the motorcycle helmet-clad vigilante known as the Night Driving Avenger. Your narrative intertwines with a female android/assassin, fighting for liberty and equality in a cynical world that attempts to eradicate all traces of the machines. Together, you attempt to dismantle an underground faction who spreads their message of hate through a false religion - its recruiting station is the black church that hovers over the city.

DEFINITION:
The uncanny valley is a phenomenon in robotics engineering whereby a humanoid robot bearing a near-identical [but not perfect] resemblance to a human causes a response of revulsion among the observer. The "valley" refers to a dip in the graph of comfort level
as humanoid subjects move toward a healthy, natural human likeness.

TRACK LIST:

1. Neo Tokyo
2. Weapons for Children
3. Death Squad
4. Femme Fatale [feat. Highway Superstar]
5. Venger [feat. Greta Link]
6. Disco Inferno
7. She Moves Like a Knife
8. Sentient [feat. Hayley Stewart]
9. Diabolus Ex Machina
10. Assault
11. The Cult of 2112
12. Souls at Zero [feat. Astronoid]
13. The Uncanny Valley

Yeah, I was going to post the new song on my Facebook, but thought against it because of the cover.

Awesome song though! Hard-hitting, and those melodies!

Now this sounds like the classic perturbator i love, not like the last album.
but its just one song

Dangerous Days had some excellent songs, man. Minuit, Title Track, Hard Wired, Raw Power to name some. Minuit though, is one of my most played Perturbator tracks because of those mesmerizing vocals.

Yep, those songs are listenable as hell. Some of the other songs though I don't want playing the background or want to listen to again after the 10th time. Not saying its a bad album, it's still a kickass pert album. I'm just used to the awesome addictive melodies in the in their previous albums, having listened to each song 100+ times.

May?!?! Jesus Christ.

Edit: sheeesh the part at 3:35, that's the shit.. Right into my veins please.

Ach, I was expecting more teasers other than the 2 tracks that were already released. It's cool Greta Link is back is though. I looooved Noir Deco from I Am The Night.

Seeing that Greta Link is on the album makes me happy as fuck!

Wish he had gotten Dead Astronauts back too. But still, this will rip!

We haven't really heard any new material from this album other than Assault, and hearing that played live was awesome. It's up there on Youtube in it's full form. Look for the Synthzilla performance.

So, anyone ever ordered from the Blood Music site? Also if you're signed up for the newsletter will you likely get a heads up when the Perturbator album goes up for preorder?

Also, what sort of payment do they accept? Credit card, paypal? I would be ordering from the US if it makes a difference.

This is pretty dark and a bit tasteless but just imagine if Richard Ramirez would have heard Perturbator when he was on his murder sprees...

I've ordered from Blood Music on every Perturbator release. If I remember, news of pre-orders are posted on Facebook faster than the email newsletter. I always use Paypal to purchase through Blood Music. I would register for a Blood Music store account now before any pre-orders because their website gets HAMMERED during Perturbator releases. There is a yearly subscription fee if you want to get in on pre-pre-orders, but not worth it IMO. With such high demand of Perturbator releases and past success, I think Blood Music will ramp up production and orders so everyone will get a chance to order a copy. I'm in the U.S. too and it's brutal waking up at 3-4am to pre-order something and not have it delivered for a few months...

Keep in mind that Blood Music is a 1 man operation and has basically ceased communication on simple questions. He puts as much information up front as possible about manufacturing/lead times and release dates. I've never had a problem with orders, they come packaged well, and ships on time as promised. They've been closed for a couple of months now releasing a huuuuuuge box set, so expect them to be super busy when they re-open (which is around the pre-orders for the new Perturbator)

Probably a bunch of ridiculous vinyl variations (pink/blue/yellow/etc splatter, glow in the dark, black), digipack cds, cassettes, posters. I go nuts over it too haha:

Oh, I just checked. Hayley is from DA. Nice!

Wished there were a few more vocal tracks, but he normally has two vocal tracks per album. Seems fair. It's cool he's working with Highway Superstar as well. Who's the other guest? Don't think I've heard anything of him/her.
