Finally saw this week's. The material it was working with could have easily made it top-5-worthy for me, but I don't think they did a very good job of taking those ideas and making them fully work in 11 minutes. The song almost redeems the episode, but overall it was just... clunky.
Too bad it wasn't a two-parter. I agree that straight-up showing them knowing each other back after the war is a little jarring, but if they had more time to work with I bet it could have been more properly "built" towards as a moment.

Considering he was rendered helpless last episode by a long piece of wire, I'd say anyone who is not a princess.

I don't know, dude is an ice ninja. Just lulling everyone into a false sense of security.
That depends entirely on his mood.
Examples: Bowser and Magneto. Both can be completely ineffective villains and sympathetic at times. Both have heroes who have stared down worse than them. But under the right circumstances, both can be extremely dangerous.
Well I guess, I mean at his best and considering what he is truly capable of, rather than his average which is comfortably below the combined efforts of Fin and Jake.
When Princess BB was possessed she was stronger than the Gumball Guardians and Ice King was able to freeze her.
I also hear he could actually put up a decent fight against Marceline's Dad, if he wasnt a coward and intimidated so easily. Do people agree with this?
He has magical control over Ice. In X-Men that's Omega level stuff. Look at how Storm or Magneto have elemental powers and can use that stuff in rule breaking ways. Magneto can give people strokes. Ice King could probably cause a nuclear winter if he reeeeally tried.

Well he took out Finn and jake during the flame assassin episode, I think ice king just deep down doesn't want to actually hurt anyone so he takes it easy on them.

Ice King could also sprinkle beard dandruff on his opponents. Freezer Burn Flu, y'all. Can only be cured by his howls. Unless it only affects Candy people.

The power levels in this show aren't very consistent though, Finn beats lich king, hunson abadeer, and that freaky thing in his dads dungeon but runs away from that chef in ignition point, and Gunter basically conquers Ooo while the ice king is gone
Well Finn had the like-like sweater to protect him from Linch's demon flames...and Im not sure he was able to reach his full power before Finn and Jake interrupted him. Finn and jake had no intention of fighting the cook, so they just ran away to try and find the conspirators.
Anyways, I found general a tier list, its interesting to consider.
I wonder what type of threat The Lich will be to the Land of Ooo once he appears again...now that he has the Book?
Should find out very shortly, judging by the episode listing for the end of this season.

Are we allowed to speak freely about what happened? Just in case, i'm gonna put stuff in spoilers.
Finn most likely ended up in a dimension where he has parents, the world as we know it hasn't ended, and Jake is just a regular dog. Unfortunately, it looks like we won't know whether he ended up there by choice or through the Lich's doing until the next season.
Season 5 starts on November 12th.
