You know, I love this show but it also depresses me in a way, pendleton ward is nearly the same age as I am and the guys made this awesome cartoon, meanwhile I'm stuck at home doing very little

I'm going to try and mimic the title cards when I do the final Multiverse banner for the Season 5 OT.
Also, Pen is 30. His birthday was, I believe, in August, because I asked him if he'd gotten my gift the last time we had a Drink & Draw (Oct 1st).
It's one of those things that's both really depressing (he was younger than I am now when he sold Adventure Time! Ugh!) and really motivating (if he can do it, I can too!) but one thing that is really awesome is that Pen has a super level head about it. He has all this insane success on his hands, a second franchise starting November 8th, an incredibly huge fanbase, and he's just the nicest guy, not in any way stuck up or conceited. Probably the most popular show Cartoon Network has ever had and he's still this nice, soft-spoken, friendly dude.

Here's my son's Finn costume. The hat is from the dvd but the backpack was hand made by my mother in law.
The nukes scattered around the landscape in the intro already gave it away quite some time ago.

Thanks, guys. He is a little ball of energy that makes it hard to capture a clear moment haha. I'm going to see if a photographer friend of mine can try and snap some photos in front of his green screen and put him in Ooo.
Edit: The best part about that backpack is that it is fully functional. She made it with adjustable straps, buckles and a zipper in the back to stuff it with whatever. Currently using plastic bags to fill it out. Amazing seamstress, my mother in law is.
C'mon ! It could be waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay worst ...

Also, those 4 missing titles are totally the movie. I had no idea it would be an hour long though, holy shit. I wonder if it will be a Direct To DVD affair since they say it got pushed back? Pretty obvious it was going to be the season finale too, going by the numbers. (First two episodes are actually "one" since it's a 2-part special, then the last 4 are probably fill-ins to replace where the movie would have gone).
Really glad they're doing more
episodes, since those are the ones that they let multiple people write & can be about nearly anything. Also looks like we're going to get a healthy balance of normal crazy adventuring with some good lore episodes too.
