Anybody with DirecTV having problems recording the show lately? I have a season pass set up but it's decided to not record it the last couple weeks.

This episode was good, loved the part where finn and jake were fighting and Beemo sits on the floor all disturbed like an abused child.

Given that Finn and Jake are basically his parental figures (Finn just picked him up from soccer practice) and that they were fighting like a dysfunctional couple... I think it might hit a little too close to home for some kids.

Anyways I did love to see the Enchiridion again especially since Finn admitted that they weren't really doing anything with it anymore. Though I did not see that last scene with
the Lich
coming. Season long plot-line coming up? I hope so and excited as heck for it.

Son of a bitch. Third week in a row the season pass doesn't record it and I forgot to set it manually. CN must have the episodes "tagged" incorrectly on DirecTV or something.

Just caught up with the episodes.

The nightosphere. Beemo sitting with his soccer outfit was amazing. The whole hug wolf episode. Dayum.

Season 4 may just be the best season yet!

Sorry I haven't been keeping up guys, I actually fell behind plus Frederator hasn't been posting the title cards for the new episodes on their tumblr like they usually do so I haven't been abreast of what episodes have been airing.

However, I am all caught up now.

Holy shit, Hug Wolf. Wow. WOOOOOWWW.

Gonna have to talk to Pen and Natasha about that one. Just.... wooooow. So much to take in.

This last episode made my brother hate Ice King more than ever. I mean, it was really fucked up what he did...=/

That said, I found it funny how Finn and Jake tried to approach the 'ugliness' over and over again.

The absolutely worst thing is that since "Holly Jolly Secrets" revealed why Ice King is so fucked up in the head and why he is so obsessed with princesses it makes it so very, very hard not to pity him.

Personally, I love how fucked up Ice King is. It's incredibly weird in a way that no other character is on a Cartoon Network show.

Is the 3/DS game at E3? I'd really like to read some hands on impressions. Edit: It's not playable :(

The last episode's ending sent chills down my spine. And so Finn's seed will live on to eternally protect the Land of Ooo from Goliad. Haunting.

Yeah, he had some great moments in this episode. Loved how he was wearing Finn's hat like a bra and kept going on about the monsters touching his body. Cracked me up. Also loved when they began to "bend" the wind. The art and humor in this show is often so incredible and spot on with what I believe to be funny.

It's short and very easy. Looks like it's made for little kids really. It's not really worth it.

Watched the spirit world episode.

Man this show goes to some very creepy places man, surrounded by all this happy colorful scenery and characters they always have this sinister undertone. Such an great show.

Didn't enjoy the LSP episode. I don't believe I liked any of her character centric episodes. The show is better off when she gets a few scenes here and there rather than devoting and entire episode to her. The scene inside the cave was pretty good though...

I don't think anyone really likes LSP-centric episodes because I think no one really likes LSP. Fun to hear the occasional one-liner from her but she tends to get really annoying really fast. Which is intentional of course given her character but still.

LSP is mai waifu.

The last two lines in the episode were hilarious to me. Jake shouting at LSP for wearing garbage as clothing had me on the floor. Also, I love stopping the show to read what's written on pages, because it usually makes no sense.

I think it was the timing that really sold it for me. We'd all been thinking it the whole episode, and then Jake finally snaps and tells her in the end.

Found these at Toys R Us today. Shame, the local store is REALLY slow on recent toy releases, but I couldn't resist these ones. They also had a plushie Ice King, but I didn't have enough on me at the time (they go for $9 and tax).
