I catch a few episodes here and there, but in general the show is amazing. It's bizarre, especially the re-run I caught with the one eyed warewolves.

This week's episode was great. I was dying when Princess Cookie was in pieces as the "crime scene" photos were being taken.
What show have you been watching? Adventure Time has always been pretty dark for a kids show. This episode was just a bit more in your face then others.

So my brother has this website where he makes cocktails and drinks based off of videogames, tv shows, and movies. Yesterday he posted an Adventure Time set.
He has Marceline, Jake, Finn, Princess Bubblegum, and Ice King drinks. I don't really drink, but I did get to try them and they were pretty good. Here is a link for the recipes.

I'm surprised this show doesn't get more love from Gaf, such a unique show with a great universe. I think people expect it to be a comedy like regular show, but that's really not what it's about.
How is it not a comedy? I like Regular Show, but I feel like it tries too hard sometimes. Adventure Time is far funnier, for my money.

I won't argue that it has it funny moments, but I think at its core it's more of an action adventure show. The jokes are more secondary to the overall adventure aspect.

I'm not saying it's bad, in fact, I think Adventure Time is the superior show. But I just think of it as more in the Adventure genre. Especially episodes like Mortal Folly/ Mortal Recoil, It Came from the Nightosphere, Dad's Dungeon, etc. I'm not arguing the shows isn't funny, just saying that I wouldn't classify it as a comedy.

According to TheTVDB the next episode is "Card Wars" airing on the 16th with "Sons of Mars" the following week and "Burning Low" the week after that.
And I am excited as hell for "Burning Low" based on the description.

I love Tree Trunks, though! I'll admit "Dream of Love" was as painfully saccharine as the little chestnut man was claiming it to be, but the Apple Thief episode brought me that angry cookie, and I will forever love it for that.

And Burning Low sounds awesome. Can't. Wait.

Just unpacked mine. This is probably the most well put together DVD set I've ever bought. From the slip cover to the disc art to the little paper insert with the episode list on it. Production value and charm out the ass.
Just saw a picture of it without the bear hood slip cover, that's awesome.

They just posted a preview of the next flame princess ep on their fb page. I don't know how they get some of this stuff past censors.
They don't, Cartoon Network just doesn't care. For example, there's the Sym Bionic Titan "Booty Quake" Dance or the multiple decapitations on Clone Wars.
