Elements of that 2099 book seems to be carrying over, but we'll have to wait to see how much is actually there.
Well he's got 2 kids, which if I recall correctly 1 of is sort of a super villain (Dr. Positron or something like that) and the other is some kind of space god stuck in the Neutral Zone/Omniverse.
Max, is his name, I think. He was a villain, now he's an AIM scientist supporting Bobby's team.
Not sure why you put this in spoilers, it's pretty open knowledge and not really a big thing. Max had a cameo in New Avengers #1.

Those characters will probably show up in spider man 2099. Captain America 2099 and Dr. Strange 2099 already have.

per spiderman 2099 #3 she isn't dead, just comatose. Her mother who doesn't like miguel is keeping her status secret from him
You read Secret Wars today? Heard BP has good scenes there too.

Get on it. It may not be the most well crafted comic series in itself, but the side stories and the overall arc make it so worth it.

2099 was really good this week and I would recommend that everyone at least get to issue 3 if they have some interest in the story.
I liked Carnage more than I expected.
The new issue of Uncanny was better than the first and the ending got me excited for the next one.
I like where Web Warriors is going
I was not expecting to like Illuminati at all, but was really surprised with it
Ultimates was a decent read and I want to see where the book goes

The fact that its looking like Cable will be joining the team bumps the book up greatly in my eyes.

i can see this title as something like Exiles (which it pretty much is), with the cast of spider people being swapped out for different ones as the plot requires it or the writer gets bored.
Lady Spider is pretty much guaranteed to show up in the main cast once her side story is done, and I can see MayDay going back to wherever she came from and making only intermittent appearances.
Kaine will show up eventually, no doubt.

This one. Because the last time we saw him, he
was literally reviving in the exact location that Web Warriors is taking place in. Remember, just like the last time he "died", he was reborn from The Other's carcass at the end of Spider-Verse, meaning that Kaine is just fuckin' walking around the Inheritor's Palace with a huge beard, looking for a way back to Aracely and trying to be edgy but relaunches won't let him.

I don't remember this one at all- he was still shooting people in Secret Wars, but who knows how much that counts
My headcanon to explain that one is that he knew he couldn't literally murder the Inheritors, so the guns weren't really using lethal force and would be okay in Spider-Verse, and Secret Wars is all multiverse amnesia nonsense anyway so whatever.
May made him promise at the end of his first mini- when he nearly murdered Vulture for trying to eat her the same way he ate Uncle Ben. Peter flipped his shit and killed him (though he was later retconned into getting better somehow), and Aunt May chewed him out for being no better than people like Osborn and his thugs if he was going to go around shooting people, so he let it go.
In our hearts.
And the New Warriors relaunch that will never come.

she SHOULD have been with the new warriors still when the inheritors beat the tar out of them and took kaine.
realistically she's in limbo as a character that never quite caught on- I can't see marvel using her again but who knows.
