I was not being sarcastic or derogatory, I really do wish that Bloodborne ran better so you (and lots of others) could play without frustration.
But it's fundamentally untrue to use the word "broken" about a product that hundreds of thousands of people have used and enjoyed. Hyperbole like this dilutes the power of language.
Also, with Boost Mode the framepacing is more like 80% broken.

I don't know if Firewatch was fixed up, but it seems very stable with Boost Mode enabled. First time I've played it on PS4 after reading horror stories about performance. Still 30fps but seems to be solid.

The performance patch they announced has been released. They may do more in the future, or include technical changes in the content patches that are still coming. But no explicit word of any upcoming performance stuff.

One thing I'm not seeing is faster general load times, which I believe may also be improved with Boost mode. It may be hard for us to test with all the variations of HDD/SDD/External/Internal there are now, though.
I'd love for someone with the Japanese version of Persona 5 to see if there are any boosts with Boost mode (loading times, perhaps?)

The game is going to be patched for the rest of the year, and all signs are pointing to a second season pass for next year too. I would just play it now or wait until the Complete Edition.

So The Division is native 4K now? Pretty surprising as that's a 4x resolution increase at same framerate and slightly better shadows/reflections while looking as good as it does.
Other examples that do native 4K over base PS4's 1080P either aren't as complex visually or drop to 30FPS. Infinite Warfare is an exception but it's not native 4K all the time, but then again the base version isn't 1080P all the time either.

That depends on your tastes. But the answer to "what game is boosted the most" is probably Battlefield 4. Both campaign and multiplayer are affected, with the latter sometimes seeing huge jumps. Project CARS is notably improved, too. Honorable mention might be Just Cause 3. The bump isn't quite as sizeable, but the game was starting from lower. For many folks Boost raises the framerate from "unplayable" to "okay"--not spectacular, but at least allowing for some fun.
Part of the explanation is probably existing headroom on PS4 all along. The Division runs 1080p30 on Xbox One (the resolution is dynamic, but not overly prone to dropping). PS4 Pro is more than 3x as powerful, so the resolution gain is a little less shocking.
It's also possible Massive is using clever tech and not true native 4K. But if they are, I at least can't tell from any of the assets I've seen. If people have evidence otherwise, I'm willing to check it out.

Whaaaaaat? Pseudo-MMO? Is this going to be the norm now? 16 as well? You'd think they'd follow some pattern such as 11- MMO, 14 - MMO, 17 - MMO.....but 15? With the character creation and Co-Op update coming to it.... So weird.

Looking forward to trying Just Cause 3 on PS4 Pro in boost mode, bought it on the PSN sale the other week. Tried it on a mates gaming PC and it was awesome. Apparently with the boost it still drops, though not quite as much, but the main difference is that it recovers back to 30fps much quicker.
When Don Bradman Cricket 17 goes on the sale I'll try to get some screenshots/info of that, I know a lot of people here are eager to see

Just Cause is maybe one of the better impacted games. It doesn't lock the game to 30 FPS, you'll still get drops in extreme situations but the frame rate is a *lot* better now. Much more ironed out. Digital Foundry did a special video on this:

Tried some boost mode yesterday:
Shadow of the beast: seems like a constant 60fps.
Mekazoo: tearing is gone, framerate is still terrible but a bit better. It's a 60fps/unlocked framerate game but it never really goes over 30fps. (Now with boost mode it's around 20-30fps most of the time instead of 15 to 25fps).
Ginger: another terribly bad game technically, it dropped from 60fps to around 10 at times. It now runs better a bit, drops are a bit less drastic but just as frequent. Tearing is also mostly gone.

People should stop referencing data that makes me feel uncomfortable because games get ported to platforms I don't like
I can tell you that on The Witcher 3 Complete Edition the game is running smoother but loading times didn't improve on the stock 1TB HDD as far as I can tell.
Can't comment on GTA V though since I don't own the game.

I have the The Witcher 3 physical disc release, and downloaded both DLCs -- I wonder if there's any difference between that and Complete Edition. There shouldn't be, but.. I don't know.

GTA V is improved nicely by boost mode. The game no longer chugs when you drive through busy intersections or when you're blowing loads of stuff up.

I am curious. Could you take screenshots of when the screen is translating rapidly up and down left to right or while spinning?
The game has no motion blur and just TAA, so one should be able to see in motion how it is compositing to, or recontrsucting to 3840X2160 if it indeed is.
I'm probably going to pick this up on the PSN sale, so I'll see what it looks like on my Samsung KS9000.

Bioware/Frostbite did a presentation on checker board rendering on BF1 and ME: Andromeda and it's a very fascinating thing. Apparently they tested both native 1800p and CB 1800p and decided to stick to CB as it has virtually the same quality but saves them a lot of MSs in the rendering pipeline thus allowing for added effects and smoother performance.

Games aren't necessarily improved from Boost Mode, at best it doesn't change anything, at worst it may run worse or break.

That's inaccurate. At best games stick to their target frame rates a lot better. Games like Just Cause 3, which were plagued with performance issues, run MUUUCH more consistent now. Other cases like BF4's multiplayer literally sticks to 60 FPS now.
At worse it *MAY* cause some issues in certain games, which is something the system itself tells you but I don't think anyone has outright reported a game constantly crashing with boost mode on. Soma was once reported as not working properly but I've put in a few hours on a new game and it's been running A-Ok.
