I upgraded from a slim to a pro two days ago and instantly noticed The Divison looked far better on my 4k hdr set.
Does Fallout 4 have Pro support?

Yes. 4k / 30
Yes, jump from 1080p to 1440p.
Fallout 4 also features denser foliage in the distance, looks much better on Pro. 1440p might be a bit low for 4K screens, but it's neat downsampled on 1080p.
I'd really like to know if life is strange: before the storm has pro support. Gonna buy it if it does.
That makes no sense. Why would it be down to Sony how much work it takes?
Sony make the dev kits
Looks like Pro & X1x are only upscaled to 4k. No upgrades.
Maybe cuz Sony made the fucking console, and Sony also stated when the console was announced how "patching for Pro" was only like 1% of workload or something like that.
Should we be blaming Microsoft for Sony not patching their own games too?

your being ignorant of the facts. it doesn't matter if Sony, MS, or nintendo made the console. Patching games outside of their original designation takes a certain amount of time and effort, and depending on what the dev wants to do, a lot of it has to be manually done, its not as easy as a simple button press, as much as you'd like to simplify it down to that.
the main thing MS has done compared to Sony for unpatched games is allow the GPU, RAM and CPU all to access the game logic, where as Sony only factors the CPU upclock into boost mode to access the game. Otherwise, for patched games, the Pro and XB1X work exactly the same.
*edit*
i said above that the pro and xb1x work "exactly the same". In terms of patching games its techically true, but i forgot about the existence of Pro's "base mode" and '4K mode'. Sony has devs optimize for both the 1080p(base mode)output and the 4k output as separate configurations as opposed to the 1080p mode just being a 1080p downsampled version of the 4K mode. that does complicate matters.
I'm pretty sure he knows that, that's why he said "no upgrades". The developer has only said there's upscaling, nothing about actual enhancements. In addition, I've only found a few 4K screens so far. Some appear native, but they're from cutscenes, have heavy JPEG compression, and--most importantly--the game has a PC version. I've seen no evidence that LiS: Before the Storm has Pro enhancements.Rendering at higher resolution =/= upscaling
A typical AA or AAA game takes 50-200 people about two or three years to make. Half a percent of that would be between 6 and 36 man-months, or somewhere in the ballpark of $50k to $500k in costs. In other words, most publishers would require tens of thousands of unit sales to pay for the patch, before they even start to hit profit. I think you can see how such math might potentially dissuade them from reworking all old releases, while still making sense as an incremental production cost leading up to a potentially more hyped launch, and the big spike of release sales.....Sony also stated when the console was announced how "patching for Pro" was only like 1% of workload or something like that.
Only unpatched games are guaranteed to receive 16x AF, patched games may not (this has already been seen). While you're correct that this is a benefit Pro does not have, you're very wrong that Pro does "essentially nothing" to unpatched titles. It raises framerates, increases dynamic resolutions, and improves any effect that was variable--texture streaming, motion blur, and AF as examples. It also shortens loading times.XB1X, from what I understand, is doing a lot more to the game even without a patch. I could have sworn every XB1 game even unpatched will receive x16 AF. That's already huge compared to what the Pro does to an unpatched game (essentially nothing)
This is mistaken. Microsoft does not allow full GPU access for unpatched games. In addition, Sony upclocks not just CPU but also GPU in Boost Mode. They just only allow access to the same number of graphics CUs as standard PS4, instead of the double hardware Pro has.the main thing MS has done compared to Sony for unpatched games is allow the GPU, RAM and CPU all to access the game logic, where as Sony only factors the CPU upclock into boost mode to access the game.
I've seen some streams and the game seems to run at 60 fps on Pro. I have no clue about the rest of the platforms.Life is Strange Before the Storm runs for sure at a higher framerate on PS4 Pro.
I don't think anyone has a definite answer about the resolution. Square Enix says it supports upscaling to 4K, but they don't say whether the native resolution is 1080/1440/1800.....
Madden just received HDR support today, in addition to it already being confirmed of utilizing the Pro fro a higher resolution.I'm pretty sure he knows that, that's why he said "no upgrades".
Whoops! Yeah, I completely scrolled past it. Several times. :-|Madden is on the list already. 2160p native, unless i'm missing something.
Destiny 2 downsamples?

I'm a bit surprised it's a full 4K. I didn't expect that at all.
What's the source of this analysis? My own searches didn't turn up definitive screenshots, so I'd like to see this.We can add another one to the pile of no downsampling. :/ Ys VIII Lacrimosa of Dana is native(?) 4K and 60fps on PS4 Pro on 4k TVs and basically the standard PS4 version on HDTVs with a 1080p resolution and 60fps.
I don't believe it has official Pro support, but it does appear to run slightly better on Pro. I've added it to the Boost Mode list. And resident revelations?

I've really been curious what res Madden is running at and haven't found any information anywhere. I have some screencaps I'll happily share, but do you also need 1080P screenshots to compare against?
Please note that the analysis I posted of Madden is based on material made public prior to release. It's always a good idea to check the retail version, so if you can post screenshots that'd still be very helpful. To analyze native rendering res, all I need is 4K shots. Identical (or nearly) 1080p shots are helpful to check for downsampling or graphical effects changed between modes, but aren't necessary for pixel counting. PNG is obviously preferable, but JPEG is fine as long as it's not recompressed multiple times. I suggest Abload as a picture host, or you can use Gifyu for shots over 10MB. Thanks!Whoops! Yeah, I completely scrolled past it. Several times. :-|

Thanks as always for the contributions! The 4K shots are incredibly easy to pixel count, and definitely do show the 2160c resolution previously announced. Supposedly this resolution is dynamic, but these shots don't show any deviation from a full-size framebuffer. If you're interested in the variability, you could try posting shots from heavy action scenes and I could count those.Destiny 2 shots.
It could also be the case that it tore before, but is now triple-buffer v-synced and doesn't tear (but still isn't a locked framerate). If you can share or link some 60fps footage on the new patch I might be able to tell. May not be possible to be sure, though.Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice received a patch today (1.02):
PS4 Only Fixes:
- Fixed V-Sync functionality.
Does it mean that the game now runs at a locked 30fps instead of the unlocked 35-40ish?

i don`t know, but destiny 2 IQ is not good on my 1080p TV. Maybe my Expectations are to high.
They might do it since Lost Legacy is done....., but I'm not sure since it's already 60fps and that collection was pretty recent...I'd rather Guerilla give us Shadowfall at 4k and give us 60fps MP tbh, because I've beaten all the uncharted's on PS3 and PS4 as it is...man what do we have to do to get the nathan drake collection pro support?

L.A. Noire port gonna be 4K (not sure if native).

Going from Destiny 2 on my 1080p 106" projection display using PS4 Pro to seeing it running on a 32" display with a base PS4, I couldn't believe how jaggy the base PS4 looked in comparison.
Some areas have very low res DoF and volumetric lights that add a ton of aliasing, even downsampled on the Pro. Really hope Bungie can deal with that and get some form of temporal AA in down the line.I might also ask here, considering it is about Destiny 2 on a PS4 Pro:
This is the aliasing on a base PS4, is it better on a PS4 Pro? Could you show me the same area, please? It would be really helpful.
In these screens you can clearly see it in the UI (in the purple boxes) and in general. But in motion is even worse, even at 720p. (except the UI, in the video is way better than it really is, probably because of the 720p)

I usually don't care about these things, but it really bothers me in this game.
