All PS4 Pro enhanced games (native support and boosted)

Sure! Once I arrive home 2 hours from now, I'll take some screens of the game. I'm no expert on pixel count but the game seems to be 1080p still. I'll do my best to emulate those screens on the PS Blog.
I do agree the game is 1080p, so if it's easier to host the smaller pictures that's fine. Thanks again for the help!

The list in the OP still lists frame-pacing issues for Prey, but it sounds like update 1.05 was supposed to have fixed that. Is it not actually fixed or is the image just not updated?

Here you go:
Thank you so much! It was tougher to compare these with existing material than I expected, but after perusal I was indeed able to confirm enhancements in the Pro version of XCOM 2. They're relatively clear if you're looking side-by-side, but their nature means they'd be very easy to miss with few or short direct comparisons. I understand why I (and everyone else, it seems) didn't catch them initially, and it's good to know the claimed Pro support was true all along. Once again, I sincerely appreciate your help!

I had this updated locally, but must've messed up version control and missed uploading it last month. I've done so now, so it should be accurate.

I also made the changes to various games brought up by PLASTICA-MAN, and elaborated details for Destiny 2 from the Digital Foundry and NXGamer analyses that went up today. Finally, I added Life is Strange: Before the Storm which runs at double the framerate on Pro.

There are a lot of new games with Pro support coming this week. I'll do my best to include them in a timely fashion, but sports titles (as many of them are) can have few screenshots to go on. Enthusiast sites that concentrate on graphics rarely cover these annual releases in depth, though I expect Eurogamer will cover PES and FIFA at some point.

If you have any 4K screenshots, video, impressions, or comments about upcoming or existing games, please don't hesitate to post them here. I rely on outside sources for my analysis and updates. Thanks to everyone who contributes!

PES 2018 is supposed to be native 4k, 60fps (30fps during replays), hdr possibly coming at a later date. Fifa 18 is 4k, it's mentioned somewhere that this is dynamic even though it was native in Fifa 17, we'll wait and see. It's 60fps and supposed to have HDR from launch.

I'm getting PES 2018 delivered this week so can post 4k images if you'd like?

Thanks for the clarification. Not to continue glooing a dead horse, but do you also know if the input latency returned on the fixed Pro version, or if they resolved both that along with frame pacing?

That was said a few days ago 😔

And then it was debunked:

Published 07/09/2017
UPDATE 9PM BST: CD Projekt Red has since downplayed the "few days" proximity to me. "PS4 Pro and Xbox One X: both technical updates are coming," senior PR manager Radek Adam Grabowski told me. "More details about them, including the exact moment when they will be released, are something we are going to announce when the right time comes." Will it be "just a few days", then, or significantly longer?

I appreciate the info, and yes, if you can post shots that'd be great. It'd be especially helpful if you find standard PS4 shots on the web, try to imitate them as best as possible with your Pro versions, and post links to both.

According to Digital Foundry, the input latency did not go back up when the frame pacing was fixed. The game inherently doesn't have twitchy response times, for any version, but the newest PS4 patch is much less laggy than it was at launch.

I just noticed that The Solus Project was recently released on PSN Store but it doesn't appear on PS4 Pro section. Does that mean it doesn't have any PS4 Pro support too like Life Is Strange Before The Strom (since it deson't appear in that section too)? This game is using UE4 (and a an old verison too) which means this clearly needs PS4 Pro support to run well on a PS4 platform.

I find it hard to believe that it would be GPU-bound with simplistic (cel-shaded) shaders, but who knows... maybe they improved the engine (multi-threading) or something.
It certainly shouldn't be CPU bound either.
Adventure games rarely have huge amounts of physics, AI/path finding etc.
Looks like there is 2xMSAA.

Do you have a source for HDR possibly coming down the line? Feel sorta silly about this, but HDR would solidify a purchase over FIFA for me.

Hdr makes fifa dark on my sony 4k hdr tv! I feel pes 2018 is the better game.

Do you put your backlight on max for HDR content? Upping the gamma slightly can help also. Looks sensational on mine.

Yeah PES feels better, wish it had Fifa graphics and presentation though. Will probably get Fifa also at somepoint in the year. My PES 2018 came yesterday (2 days early!), haven't had much of a chance on it yet. Online servers unfortunately aren't up yet. Will upload some screenshots later.

Do not rely on the store tagging. We have multiple known instances where games with Pro enhancements are not labeled as such, and a couple where games with no enhancements have the label. It's mostly correct, but not a cause for certainty in either direction.

Is this confirmed? Awesome leap in performance there.
The Pro version being 60fps is definitely confirmed, Gamersyde posted footage. Every other version labeled "PS4" I could find was at 30fps (even if the video was encoded at 60, like IGN First). These could be mistakes of some sort, and a 60fps standard PS4 video be out there somewhere that I missed. But I tried to search thoroughly.

L.A. Noire's boxart seems to point towards native 4K support. (the same exact phrasing is also used for the Xbox One X version)

Never say never, but it seems weird to make a huge 4K sign on the artwork for it not to be native, but that's just my thought and stranger things have happened.

Most last-gen games seem to have options for native 4K (AC Trilogy, Skyrim,TLoU). Probably because lighting, textures etc don't put too much demand on the CPU.

The
hero of the game
isn't even on the cover? Heady play.

I've added a dozen games to the lists, across official support and Boost Mode. (I made some revisions to existing games as well.) I was updating very infrequently during the summer, which I hope wasn't too inconvenient for anyone. I can't guarantee more frequent updates, but as we get into the heavy release season I'll definitely do my best to keep up.

This requires assistance from other people. The amount of things I update is not--at least currently--constrained by how much effort I'm willing to put in. It's completely a function of how many 4K screenshots and 60fps videos I can track down, in good enough quality for comparison. I rely wholly on external sources for the material I analyze, and while I try to search assiduously there's limits to what I can find floating around.

To that end, any help you can give by posting screens and video in the thread is much appreciated. Even if you just found them rather than took them yourself, that's fine (though please explain the source so I can track them back if needed). This would be very beneficial, and I thank you all in advance. Special appreciation is deserved by those members who have contributed already.

If there are any questions, comments, or suggestions I'm open to those as well. Thanks!

I haven't contributed to this thread (yet) but just wanted to say thanks from afar because I've used this thread several times over to help people I know make a purchasing decision. It's a fantastic resource and your effort and work in it is very much appreciated.

Thanks so, so much for your work, mate :)

As far as I can tell, the just released NASCAR HEAT 2 has no PS Pro improvements whatsoever, and no plans to add any which for a game just released, is a disappointment.

Where are you getting this about LA NOIRE not being native?

Thanks for all your hard work man. I don't even own a Pro but I like staying up to date with all this stuff (hoping Pro enhancements will carry over to PS5) so mostly just read but can't contribute shucks
