That's pretty damn low for a game that claims to run at 4K on Xbox One X.Don't think so, the one you posted as "resolution" mode is higher than the other. The compression--and the image quality of the game in general--make it rough to count, though. I believe it's somewhere in the range of 1350p to 1440p.
I can't currently take the time to look for other differences. I'll give it a shot later.
Yes you can. on both 1080p and 4K screens, all 3 options are selectable from the menu in game.
Has the 4k option improved? Or does still have a bad framerate?
Thanks! I added a couple VR games today, but didn't have a chance to get to this one. I'll add it soon.I see on the psvr thread that The Solus Project has higher resolution on the psvr with the Pro.
Well, remember that Microsoft's official terms "True 4K" and "4K Ultra HD" both include dynamic resolution methods. It's a fair bet that Shadow of War will use that...though I also believe it'll be much closer to 2160p more of the time, given One X's power advantage over the Pro.That's pretty damn low for a game that claims to run at 4K on Xbox One X.
Any word on Evil Within 2?
Echoing this.
On the official PS4 website's page, there's no Pro enhanced icons on it unlike other games (eg RE7): https://www.playstation.com/en-gb/games/the-evil-within-2-ps4/
Will be a huge disappointment if this comes with no Pro support.
Funny enough US PlayStation has the pro enchanced labelEchoing this.

Yep contradictions everywhere, makes it hard to determine who is right. I guess different regions of PlayStation dont operate on a universal thinking pattern. You're right. Really bizarre.
We already know the game's supposed to be Xbox X enhanced to 4K and whatnot, but it would be nice if Tango or Bathesda had given some information on the Pro enhancements too.
I guess we're gonna have to wait till more people have copies or if DF or NXGamer do a video first.

Even within a single region, you should not draw conclusions from this tagging. There are multiple games which have Pro support but no logo, and even a couple which have (or had) the logo but no support. Accuracy is very low.I guess different regions of PlayStation dont operate on a universal thinking pattern.
There was a few updates which ended up with a native 4K resolution as well as other improvements. It looks absolutely stunning now. What are the support notes for The Division?
I know that UI got the 4K boost but what else?
I found it so pretty and crisp when I came back to it recently
It's present in the lists, under Tom Clancy's The Division. It has enhanced lighting and shadow resolution on Pro, as well as improved framerate. The overall resolution is about 2950x1660, then using some form of temporal reconstruction to generate a 4K framebuffer. It can fall apart and cause lots of artifacts in some hectic situations, but it looks quite nice a lot of the time. What are the support notes for The Division?

It's not native 4K. It uses temporal accumulation of some sort to achieve the higher resolution. There was a few updates which ended up with a native 4K resolution as well as other improvements. It looks absolutely stunning now.

Sony and MS need to start putting their foot down. There is no excuse for games from big studios to be launching with no Pro or X support.

Ah, OK. I'd always understood that it was native. If I'm being honest I've probably only played it for about an hour after the update where I just walked around and admired the view and it looked wonderful to me.It's not native 4K. Just don't buy shoddy work. There's too many games for me to play any that don't support my hardware.

I DOnt understand how this game has such bluries LOW Rez Grass..... its like the worst grass Ive seen in a long time on curent Gen games....Just wierd, makes no sence.
That small change alone would make this look better !
Just skip it until the game is cheaper and actually has support. I did that with PREY and I'll do that with any game with no Pro support.Sony and MS need to start putting their foot down. There is no excuse for games from big studios to be launching with no Pro or X support.
The HDR in Everybody's Golf looks so washed out for me that I thought my new tv was broken. But No Man's Sky HDR looks great. Is this just the way it works with some games?
New patch just released for LiS:Before the Storm with enhanced resolution support for Ps4 Pro. Not at home at the moment so haven't been able to try it out yet.

I'm downloading right now (2.5GB update), i'll be able to post screenshots after.
EDIT. Finished downloading.
On 1080p screens nothing changed, 1080p 60fps with NO option for downsampling.
On 4K screens the game now let's you choose between "High Resolution" and "High Framerate" in the menu under video settings.
My pixel count gave me a 1440p image for the high resolution mode, but the framerate seems to be 30fps.

Don't remember if it got any specific Pro support, or if Boost mode alone was able to smooth out so many of the kinks.

Nooooo please buy evil within lol. Supporting a quality title in a decaying genre is more important than boycotting a game that doesn't have checkerboard rendering.Just don't buy shoddy work. There's too many games for me to play any that don't support my hardware.
