Kit has sex with his wife -> Aliens come -> Wife gets abducted

Kit has sex with Grace - > Aliens come -> Grace gets abducted and sees Kit's wife who is pregnant -> Grace is returned, but is bleeding from her vagina suggesting that the aliens sterilized her instead of Sister Jude

The aliens want Kit's wife - and want her to be pregnant for some reason - but didn't want Grace to get pregnant. Ergo! KIT'S WIFE IS THE ALIEN QUEEN

I think it's great. Watch the first two episodes and see how you like it. The second episode is insane (in the best way).

Apparently (spoilers on modern day part of the show)
the voice on the phone (modern day Bloody Face) was Dylan McDermott. I saw some speculation that he is Lana and Thredson's child.

What a fantastic episode. So fast paced, so much story clogged in too.

I can't get over how amazing this season is ;_;

To be fair that seems pretty outlandish, but then again this show is pretty fucking outlandish. If that is the case - here's how I see it happening: Thredson rapes Lana, Lana kills Thredson, Lana is preggers, Lana puts baby up for adoption because she can't see the baby without seeing the rape/Thredson. Repeat the cycle of Bloody Face feeing abandoned by his mother. The child would be in his late 40's (this show does take place mid 1960's, right?), McDermott is 51 (SUPER DILF).

Fuck why did I highlight that? I'm enjoying a lot this season. There's a lot of fucked up stuff and I find it to be much more interesting and entertaining than the first.

I'm still having a little trouble connecting with this season but this past episode was fuck some fucked up shit. The whole "mommy" and "baby" thing was so uncomfortable and creepy.

Dunno... The body type of the original Bloody Face was really girlish... Maybe it is the little killing girl in the future...

I think to some extent they are trying to replicate their structure they took on with Nip Tuck, in that you had patients who would visit and last an entire episode.

In Asylum, some patients visit and such >_>

I think. Well that's my theory.

I think it's set in 1960s Massachusetts, not New York. I think there have been references to Boston/New England.

There's actually plenty of Classic Americana ripe for use.

Alaska - Isolation

I'm just going by location and the tendency of stuff that seems to be mythologized out there to an extent. I'd be really intrigued to see New Orleans, the New Mexico desert, or the Pacific Northwest.

There's plenty of scary stuff that can be used: Vampires, werewolves, Lovecraftian abominations, sex demons, etc.
