Blinded by the luminous glory that is David Bowie's physical manifestation.
LOL, this episode is crazy.

Total cray cray. I still have no clue what the hell is going on besides 1) Satan revealing himself to sister Jude, and 2) Sister Jude coming to terms with her life.

Oh shit, what a twist.

Oh it's not that hard to get now. Think of common tv tropes, what the writers have been hinting at and where the story would organically go.

If you're still confused type out what is confusing you and I'm sure you'll get enlightened in this thread.

So much awesome going on up in this shit...

The way that the conversation in the diner played out, it almost seemed like
Jude got her "calling" from the angel of death herself.

Also.... the aliens
gave Grace a hysterectomy
? I have this very VERY bizarre sneaking suspicion about why that is, which I won't ruin, cuz it'd be epic if it came true. Like, crazier than any of the shit that's already happened.

So yeah...that was an insane hour of television. It was also just slightly confusing. So, the angel of death is visiting the inmates who wish to die, but only because she was first summoned by the suicidal dude? But later in the episode, they made it seem like she just randomly appears to anyone who wants to die, regardless of "being summoned". If that's the case, then why was Sister Mary Eunice asking "Who wrote this? Who summoned her?!" If the angel of death visiting people is commonplace, why would SME be worried or surprised? Also, why didn't the angel appear to Shelley?

Anyway, let's see:

Lana escaped Bloody Face (but didn't kill him for some reason...) but is now back in the asylum.

Kit injured/killed a cop and escaped custody, only to go back to the asylum to rescue Grace, which lead to a fight with one of the manimals and Grace's death not to mention he's captured again, though this time Lana and Mary Eunice know that he's innocent.

We find out that Grace received a hysterectomy from the aliens, and then later dies after taking a bullet for Kit. I'm guessing that the aliens are going to put Grace's uterus inside Sister Jude, thus giving her the ability to have children, which is something that she desperately wants.

Also, Sister Jude didn't really kill the little girl at all. but my mind is too full of fuck to reason out what/how/why.

This was indeed confusing-not sure I understood the scene between the Angel of Death and Satan...

First, it's probably not the Devil. Just a fallen angel, despite what it may have said in the past. Second that little stand off was just two otherworldly creatures being a bit wary of each other. Kind of like two dogs encountering each other and deciding a fight wasn't exactly worth it.

LiQuid!

I proudly and openly admit to wishing death upon the mothers of people I don't like
You guys, DIS SHIT CRAY.

Seriously, every week, what the fuck am I watching?!

Gotta admit I never saw the twist about the girl hit the car coming.

Also-the rape scene was just completely fucking disturbing-but I'm sure we all know what the point of that scene is.

Welp! With Shinigami (God/Angel of Death) and Killer Santa, this season has exhausted almost all sorts of horror/sci-fi and even animu trope. Is there anything that's left untouched and can be used for next season?

People trying to make sense of a Ryan Murphy show? lol...just enjoy the ride, AHS was never interested in being coherent.

Zachary Quinto could play Bigfoot. Wouldn't even need to put on a costume.

that man's hair sleeves rival Robin Williams!

LOL, this episode is crazy.
It really was.

RIP Grace

Kit going back to the asylum was bad ass.

A shame that Lana continues to be such an unlikeable and idiotic character. She could have killed Bloody Face so easily. I find it really hard to be sympathetic to her various plights.

Angel of Death is my new favorite character.

That was awesome. So much crazy stuff packed in one episode. I hope Frances Conroy's angel of death is there with her amazing black wings in my final moments.

Loved that scene, so awesome. This show outdoes itself in crazy every week.

Crazy ass episode, loved it.

But i can't fell sorry for lana, she was immensely stupid not killing bloddy face when she had the chance, , and if she did, she wouldn't have to run straight into the car of another psycho XD

Yep. She could have just walked upstairs and called the police. I know that wouldn't make for a stereotypical horror plot, but still.

Hell if she hadn't narc'ed on Kit way back when, she, Grace and Kit could be 500 miles away from that place by now...

My wife is a total AMHS fangirl and while I enjoyed the first season I didn't like it nearly as much as she did. I found many of the characters to be far too annoying, though the show did have some really cool moments. So far season 2 is totally blowing it away, imo they really improved the show and it is going in the right direction (crazy).

I enjoyed last nights episode but, not sure if Im alone on this but the episode felt a bit rushed, almost like there were too many plot lines going on and then they had to fit Frances Conroy's character in as well ( no complaints tho <3 FC).

For a second there I really thought that
Sister Jude had actually slit her wrists

That was a crazy episode. Most of times I don't really know what I'm watching, but it's so fun. I don't care if at the end nothing makes sense, because I'm having a great time with this season.

This show just doesn't disappoint. Really challenging Boardwalk imo to be the best show on tv at the moment.

Was great to see the maid from season 1 return as the angel of death. Some great scenes involving her, but once again Lange steals the show. Her scene in the cafe talking about every time she was on the verge of wanting out was powerful stuff.

Great ending, really want to know what that weird flash was right before the credits.

Is there any actual allusion to the
aliens doing work on Grace
in the episode? It makes sense from a coincidental stand point but don't remember any scene where that was specifically implied.

The start of this episode felt really strange with our first real look at the nice nuns in the Asylum. I didn't know any existed in that place. Also, I noticed the guard's empathy towards the black patient.

It almost seems as if the writers tried to show that not everyone in season 2 are complete shits.

This show is getting frustrating to watch. Not because I think this season has been bad, far from it. But Briar(?) Cliff is beginning to feel like god damn Gilligan's Island. Just when I think these people finally make it off the island they end up right back where they started.

Watching Lana's ordeal was what brought that thought home. I'm thinking WTF, how much worse can things get for her? She escapes the asylum, then escapes Dr. Thredson only to get into a car with a suicidal man ready to take his life (and did).

The stand off between Sister Eunice and the Angel of Death was very cool. Very surprised to see the little girl Jude ran over with her car was still alive. I'm sure that was a big relief to her even though she was about to come clean.

And yeah, might as well give the Emmy to Lange now. ;)

Lol when tf did that happen? Must've been in the bathroom or kitchen or something. Was that in this last episode?

Well that was a few episodes ago in the one where she got abducted. I think that combined with Arden having no knowledge of any procedure being done certainly suggests it was the aliens.

The real identity of the modern day Bloody Face is getting openly spoiled on several entertainment websites, as well as the actor/actress confirming it on Twitter.

Fuck. :/

I wouldn't be surprised if it's a twist like Season 1's. Total fake out.

Just saw that.

I can't really express much regret at having it spoiled when I can't even say I legitimately like this show.

So we got:

Aliens
Robot Alien Creatures
Nazis
Satan (or a Hell demon of sorts)
Death
Serial Killers
Amputee Monsters

All we need are:

Vampires
Werewolves
Zombies
Pirates
Ninjas

This season is ridiculous. Some good episodes, but they're trying to do too much and its losing direction/appeal for me.

I really liked Death though.
