A lot of people go through several drugs before finding one that works for them. Even then, the side effects can lead to a decreased sex drive. For some people they absolutely screw more once they're on them, for others it can dampen the sex drive or make it difficult to achieve an orgasm, or even cause ED in men.

Speaking from personal experience, when I first started taking Paxil it didn't impact my sex drive, but I did have difficulty reaching orgasm. Not the worst thing in the world, but it did make me a little insecure about having sex and led to me having sex less. It took some time for me to get over that insecurity.

There's no way that it isn't a factor, but I don't know how you'd get an accurate reading if it actually was or not.

I can see with electronic distractions and shit communication tieing into each other to reduce sex, but the report shows that porn and longer work hours leads to more sex.

That is not what the study says. The study's relation to porn consumption is totally binary - people either watched no porn at all or watched one "pornographic movie" in the past year. Now, yes I'm purely speculating, but I am hesitant to believe that the study found a good number of people in their 50s and with college degrees who truly had not watched one porn in the past year, and am confident to believe that such a binary study does not "rule out" pornography as a cause for this as it says it does. Now, I have no scientific evidence for my speculation in my last post, it's just my personal take on this based on, admittedly, anecdotal evidence and personal experience.

How I feel about it as well, sadly. I also felt this on a moment to moment basis in the corporate world.

Edit: I also believe that porn consumption(addiction) in mass amounts decreases your actual sex drive and how often you have sex. IF you masturbate for that quick dopamine rush on a regular basis, I feel you are less likely to actually put in effort to go out there and meet someone.

I wake up in the morning at 8am. Shower, get ready for work, etc. In the office at 9am. I'm there until 10pm, get home around 10:30pm or 11pm. That gives me an hour to an hour and a half between getting home. My partner and I usually have to do things like make coffee, pack lunch, wash dishes, do household stuff.

No energy. No time.

Wake up 30 minutes earlier, enough for a morning quickie and a shower. You'll have more energy during the day despite sleeping slightly less.

You need a new career, that is unhealthy.
