I agree what he said was harsh, and I don't actually agree with it, but no sense in blaming him. The manager sold it to him. If the manager felt as strongly as you two about it, then he wouldn't have sold it. It didn't have a very good chance of lasting long anyway as popular as it is and with the manager seemingly not caring about the ones employees set aside.

Wow, that's the first pic I've seen of either Sonic or Megaman in the wild here in North Texas. Maybe Sonic and Megaman will be like Toon Link after all!
Best Buy in Irving had nothing of note except for one last Samus, still there as of 5 hours ago.

I haven't seen them in stores until today, so it's a first for me. I'd assume Sonic will be a common because of his popularity, but Mega Man might end up like Fox. The Best Buy in Hurst, had Sheik, who I have only seen when Rosalina came out.

There seems to be a lot of new stock out there. I went on a hunt after I saw someone found a Little Mac at a Best Buy here and I didn't find any, but Toon Link, Sonic, Sheik, and Megaman have all been decently restocked along with the commons when I checked out Toys R Us, Best Buy, and two Gamestops. I have a few more places to check but that's the majority of places that sell amiibo near me.

It seems like some people on here are still struggling to get some of these so I'm willing to help out with this on my free time and pay for the shipping out of pocket because there is too much ill will surrounding amiibo and I want to give back a bit because this is supposed to be a fun hobby, not stressful. I'm relatively new to NeoGAF but I have faith in this community.

I like the dress and pose better on Smash Peach but the face as of now in the photos of MP Peach looks a lot better I think. Better pray they don't downgrade her face til then.

With no little irony, the original proposal for The Wonderful 101 would have been a good launch game for amiibos. For those who didn't know it was first pitched as the action-adventure equivalent of Smash Bros. Dozens of Nintendo characters in a huge mob.

There's many ways this could have worked. For instance you could have assembled a group of team leaders depending on which amiibo you scan, swapping leaders in and out in real time.

The Mario line is confirmed for March 20th, yes. Wave 4 is confirmed for April in EU/JP, yes. In the US, though, there has been literally nothing said about Wave 4 since the inital announcement. We are all assuming yes, since previous waves have matched in all regions but, no, it has not been 100% confirmed.

The other day my mother and I were out and preparing to go to IHOP (was National Pancake Day, so free pancakes) and I had the awesome luck of randomly walking in to the nearby Gamestop while we were waiting to be seated (20 minute wait) and found an Ike. Since he was last on my list for the current wave (got 4 Shulk amiibo for my facebook giveaways, 2 Rosalina and Sheik) I immediately made a beeline for the counter. I think the purchase made me far happier than the pancakes >.<

Now just waiting on my Robin and Lucina from the next wave (preordered two each from Japan for giveaways and one each in the US at FYE) and wait on Dark Pit, Palutena and Zero Suit Samus and I will be done with the Smash line

It looks like Mario and Luigi follow a similar downgrade in the texture department; their overalls look like plastic to me this time rather than denim overalls. It looks like Bowser kept all of his nice textures from the SSB version. And Toad looks great!

Peach and Mario look pretty bad. Luigi and Yoshi look a little better.

That's how the actual in game models look. It's not a downgrade. SSB Mario in game has textured denim. Not so in Mario World/Party.

Sometimes I'm glad I work at Best Buy but if we were to snatch amiibo that were ordered by a customer online for ourselves we can get in trouble. We haven't gotten any more Meta Knight but we did get some Sonic and Megaman last week which were quickly snapped up.

Not yet. He is rare but you can still find him by importing rather easily for now.

Well keep in mind that just because a store receives promotional material, doesn't mean they have to use it. Plus, most managers are actually competent and won't put up material for something that is completely sold out.

I hope I'm wrong though and Target is getting more Rosalinas.

Hopefully. Toys R Us seems to be having sporadic restocks of Lucario, I was able to walk into the store 2 weeks after release and pick up a second one they had in the glass game case. This was one of 3 they received in a second shipment. Everyone I spoke to at Target says Rosalina is discontinued in their system, but they also said that about Sonic, so they probably don't know anything.
