As I said earlier, Toki had the awesome idea of having us start a Google Hangouts session for alerting one another about amiibo availability 'n such, so I'm trying to drum up interest. We have a nice list so far, but the more the merrier, so if you have or are willing to make a apare Gmail account, you can be part of this too.

I just use the desktop website, even if I'm on mobile I switch over to the desktop version. Has my target card and visa saved no problems.

Would anyone be interested in doing a Hangouts group chat thing for amiibo alerts? That way with a smartphone it's probably much easier being alerted by someone on here if they're willing to share info.

Actually might be a good idea. Why not just an iMessage chat group? I already have a couple people I text whenever I see a deal. But the chat group would reveal our phone numbers or email addresses.... What other "hangout" group would you suggest? An app? There's GroupMe which I use with my friends.

If you use Hangouts, just create a new Gmail address, is all. No biggie. That way no one has your phone number or actual email. That's what I and others are doing.

That's okay, you're allowed to do that.if you happen across some good info, share it, but if not, you can just be there when one or more of us alerts the rest.

Yeah, many people seem to have forgotten (or never knew?) that Wal-Mart had an exclusive version of Super Mario Advance 4: Super Mario Bros 3 for GBA back in the day.
The standard release only came with 2 e-cards:

Wal-Mart's exclusive version came with 7 bonus e-cards that were never available anywhere else (in the US):

Now this is definitely just speculation on my part, but consider this:
As far as we've heard to date, the upcoming Super Mario series Mario amiibo figure is going to be exclusive to the Mario Party 10 bundle, at least initially.
Assuming the leaked images are legit, the Gold Mario amiibo seems to be some kind of promotion for Easter, which is just ~2 weeks after MP10 launches on 3/20 - that seems to be a pretty quick turnaround for a timed-exclusive...
Considering they sold their exclusive version of SMB3 instead of the standard version of the game.....well, you can see where I'm going with this.

I could be completely wrong but I went ahead & pre-ordered a MP10 bundle just in case my hypothesis is actually correct.

I had one at Newegg too but I cancelled that one, haha. :)

Here's hoping Amazon or Best Buy get the Silver Mario...

hmm? I don't see a Hangout.
 
Someone indulge me. I am really interested in the Mega Man amiibo. I don't regularly follow amiibo rarity as I mostly buy the ones I want. After my initial disappointment of not being able to get Villager, I gave up on amiibos as I'm not as hardcore as you guys are.

With that being said I really want the Mega Man amiibo. I have seen that some people have him so I will assume he has been released.

Is it at a particular store?
Is he hard to find?

I have no idea who Shulk is...
 
Yep, my mk order status changed from bby and my card was charged. It's happening. Still no order confirmation from target about ddd though.
