Not just the mask, man. It's like they didn't wait for the paint to dry before packing it. It got all these weird smudgy line everywhere at the knuckles and the boots too. The knuckle, urgh

I've already stopped running around town hunting for these and have no interest in lining up for a chance for one. I'm getting dedede on Wednesday and that could be it for me. Ness would be great, but I'm sure he'll be hard to get with little mac stock or a bullshit exclusive.
I've got 10 total and will cut that down eventually since I got caught up in the frenzy.

All of the metal parts are supposed to look smudged, dirty, beaten, and worn. That's what the battle armor looks like after the battle, not when it's all nice and polished before the battle. Every Meta Knight looks like that more or less. It's how he's supposed to look.

Yeah, I'm in West Virginia and I was lucky enough that my local Gamestop got in a few Sheiks. We seem to have a good bit of Toon Links and Bowsers around here, but besides those it's just commons.
And I hadn't seen Fox in awhile so I assumed I should grab it up when I happened upon one at a Walmart.

Why not just check their online inventory tracker? It's pretty accurate I found a Fox recently by where I live in Illinois this way (but so did someone else, who snatched it up before me).
The unofficial Target Tracker is super useful too. I've seen plenty of Shieks and Toon Links in the midwest using that thing (just checking for fun).
Save yourself those disappointing trips, yo.

Target never got any Ike's in-store. Wave 3b has been online only for Target.
just don't use the target tracker to look for Villagers with a zipcode in Michigan. Contrary to the tracker's data, there are not dozens of Villager amiibos just hanging out on Target shelves in the state.

I have only seen him in the wild twice. First time I shrugged him off and figured I could get him a day or two later but ended up waiting 2 weeks to find another. Last Friday I randomly found one at Meijer and snapped it up.

He can be a bit hard to find in some places, but he's been getting small restocks here and there around me. I'd say he'll probably wind up about the same as Zelda or Diddy Kong in availability once the initial high demand wears off a bit.
Welp, this answers my question. My GS should've gotten their shipment of new stock by now, so hopefully when I stop by, they'll have my Sonic.

Oh damn, I just called my GameStop and they told me Wednesday or later this week, but they'd call us. I'm also in Michigan.
Right now, Brickseek has Toon Link in ~75% of Target stores, but I think toon link will end up like fox - another amiibo that Nintendo produced more of than others, but still not enough to keep up with demand - especially with his accessible customization. Now might be the easiest time to grab one.

So some of you guys might remember that I ordered a strange item that appeared as part of a glitch on Nintendo UK's store on Friday. The item was called "customer service" and cost £10.99. I was expecting the order to get cancelled but was very surprised when it shipped, especially since I had no idea what it was.
It arrived today. And....
Yep. A Dedede Amiibo. With no pre-order. From the official Nintendo UK store. I'm pretty sure he's been out of stock the entire time, and has been in fact for a good couple of months now.
Let this be a message that the hunt can end in some mysterious ways sometimes! Keep at it, guys!

Do the European ones look the same? Maybe Nintendo is just shitting out a cheap US run since it's a retailer exclusive that will probably never be restocked.
I'd just be glad to have one or maybe even just see one in person to know it exists.
