I attempted to grab him earlier after the push notification, but I've never purchased on a japanese site, and was too confused during registration. I'm curious though what their shipping costs are to the U.S?

I would also like a link to the pushbullet, I'm already so behind on amiibos, getting 2 Gold Marios is a massive achievement, and when Wave 4 does go up, I won't let a single one slip past me!
 
weird didn't get a push bullet for Gold Mario (that I need) but got the notification for the wave 4 from some Japanese site. Dang I still need a Gold Mario.

Found an older tweet saying what it is. I needed ike, sonic and mega man up until this morning when i bought them off amazon for about 10 dollars over msrp. Fuck it, my time is worth more.

Shiek, Toon Link, Bowser, Ike, Dedede, Megaman. We have a culture of lining up early at Nintendo World for anything. I live in Brooklyn so go to many launches, its always the same 50 people at ANY event. Many wait at midnight just for the kicks of going to wait at midnight.

I met a few regulars when they had store exclusives the day after the blizzard. Waited 3 hours outside...the guys i met ranged from cool/knew how dumb it was to be waiting for toys to social misfit/paranoid they were going to run out.

That day i decided to never do anything like that again.
 
I hate scalpers, but there is definitely a dollar value attached to not having to wait in line outside for Walmart or Target to open in order to literally get into a footrace with other grown men to the electronics section for just the chance to maybe be able to buy an Amiibo, if that store happened to get one.

I did the math..for me, i wont pay over 30 (US/JPN/EU doesnt matter) a figure via amazon (with prime shipping). If i can get wave 4 via pre-order thats great. If not thats the highest ill go.
 
yeah was gonna wait in line at nintendo store but i did it last time they had rosalina and it was sold out before i got to the register.

this amiibo thing has been exhausting. my biggest fear is bowser jr and all the koopalings being exclusives to different stores.

Kind of where my mind is at, too. For Ness, at least, which is the only one I truly need to buy. The others I can give or take. I mean, I own like 15 Amiibo, but if any individual one had been sold out I wouldn't have paid a premium, but just figured I missed out and said "oh well."
 
It hurts to see you guys fighting over Shulks when I actually saw a couple of them in several stores.
All I want is Rosalina :(

You also have to take into consideration that the scalpers themselves are part of what causes that situation.

I just saw Mega Man on Amazon for $12.99 (sold by Amazon). I went to order it, but the next page I go to I have nothing in my cart and it's no longer available.

All of them bought out from under me. Took like 4 seconds. Ridiculous.

Is Megaman hard to find in the states? He and Sonic seems to be flooding over here in Canada.

Oh absolutely. Like I said, I hate them. The stores definitely need to take some measures to curtail this bullshit, like at the very least limiting the number available to purchase per customer.

But still, it's the situation we live in right now, and I'm not going to play the game. Ness is the only one I'll do what it takes to get, but because of the scalping mess, I'm just not going to buy any for which I miss the insanely narrow pre-order window.

I would buy all of Wave 4 without hesitation if they were sitting on Amazon with the nice blue Prime logo next to them. The way the market for these exists today? I've already written them off in my mind.

Crazy. I went into our Walmart last night and they got yet another restock of them. And they've been up on TRU.ca, Amazon.ca and Walmart.ca several times also.
 
I haven't come across Megaman, Sonic, DDD, or Ike in any store in my city even once...Just the empty shelves that still have their price tag...like a subtle "Sorry bro, you're too late".
 
I've been looking for Mega Man, Ike, Sonic, Donkey Kong, King DDD and Meta Knight. But everywhere online and they are "Out of Stock".

I've only seen Sheik, Kirby, Diddy Kong, Link, Toon Link, Peach, Mario, Luigi, Pikachu and Bowser in the stores.
 
Nintendo should just send out extra shipments of all already released figures to stores stealthily, so that way no scalpers can get to them any faster than we can...

...of course, that won't happen. But one can dream.
