I'll be honest, I didnt think it would make it! Way to prove me wrong boys! Happy you could do it! Cant wait to play the game
@Conduit23 do all you guys work for Harmonix? Getting literally 200 tweets about this a day. If yes, smart way to run a kickstarter!
I wouldn't say completely. Remember they have help from Sony.Proves the "if it's not on PC it won't get funded" crowd completely wrong
I would've though Vita stretch goal would be less than 1 mil. Couldn't be that expensive to port it can it?
You won't beat this track. In fact, just give up now.
I remember seeing a website or two saying this would never make its Kickstarter goal.
Some retractions are in order.
Just read that there's no online multiplayer.
Not sure if I want anymore.
I never played the original. I don't see the fun factor in this. Glad it got funded. I might try it when I get a PS4.
there is if it reaches it's stretch goal

I noticed he just favorited an Amplitude-related tweet as well.

I'd love if he could work something out with Harmonix to feature one of his songs again.
Hey guys, I'm unfamiliar to how kickstarter works and I'd like to donate some money to this.
If I donate money, am I given a copy of the game? Or would I have to buy it when the game is completed? I don't have an issue in paying more to buy it after the donation, but I'd like to use this opportunity to learn more about kickstarter.
Thanks in advance for the replies.

If you put in $20 and select the reward for the $20 tier, you will get a code for the game when it releases. So no you don't have to buy it again. Assuming everything works out on their end correctly.Hey guys, I'm unfamiliar to how kickstarter works and I'd like to donate some money to this.

I really wish the first stretch goal was a Vita version but you will be able to remote play on it atleast.

Most Kickstarters massively underestimate the cost of porting to a new platform because they only consider the technical aspect of "getting it to run" without factoring in the costs of getting hold of hardware, additional testing, user interface and control changes, usability testing, platform specific compliance changes, platform specific marketing/launch assets, submission logistics, and subsequent support.
Me as well. The hype train swept me up and then some. I love music games anyways though.
KS is just for the funding. It's the "publisher". Once the game is out it'll be on storefronts like any other digital game.Is the only way to get this game is via this Kickstarter? Or can I buy the game once it's released for PS4?

So I was throwing out a bunch of old artwork I've been meaning to get rid of, and serendipitously found this pic I made in May of 2003. I had no idea I still had it 11 years later!! Thought some of you in here might appreciate this reminder of how obsessed I was with the original game.

It was done with a bunch of glow in the dark pens and highlighters. Unfortunately a lot of the ink has faded and no longer glows in the dark or really responds to black light... It used to look so cool at night.
