Slam Dunk and YuYu were way bigger than Naruto and Bleach have ever been. How about comparing them all by a real metric? Average sales per volume:
Bleach: 1.36 million copies per volume
Naruto: 2.00 million copies per volume
YuYu Hakusho: 2.63 million copies per volume
Slam Dunk: 2.96 million copies per volume
One Piece: 4.79 million copies per volume
Dragon Ball: 5.48 million copies per volume
What were you saying earlier?
not only that, but virtually everyone in Japan still knows Dragon Ball. before the new movie even came out last year, you would still find dragon ball toys/merch on shop shelves over Naruto and Bleach both. I'm not sure of the numbers (nor do I know/care enough to find them tbqh) but I wouldn't be too surprised if the TV viewership of Dragon Ball Kai was higher than Naruto or Bleack.
One peice isn't very good. And I really hate the manga art style and I can onlly enjoy the movies really.
Bleach failed due to piss poor organizing
And naruto out of the 3 is the least bad, and jin kazama is in it. So it wins.
# bring back reborn
The rankings don't map well to sales. Toriko has consistently good rankings yet each volume still fails to achieve a decent amount of sales, and that's even after the push of the anime.Bleach is still considered a big one?... even though it's near the bottom of the rankings? (manga)
I liked Reborn. They had decent pacing but some shit never got resolved. THAT ENDING WAS AWFUL
Screw the "big three" Gintama is the best long running shonen.
But I'll give a nod towards One Piece because I like the "We Are" tune which is just about all I know about the three shows combined.
(I understand the author was sick so I do appreciate him/her at least trying to continue the story), but because that kinda screwed up the power levels completely. It also went on for far too long. It did wrap up really nicely and opened up a very interesting arc.
From everything I've heard, it wasn't that he was sick, he just couldn't be bothered. Dude's super rich (even moreso since his wife wrote sailor moon), and doesn't seem to have any passion for his work anymore. His messages (I think it was on twitter) about procrastinating with DQIX a few years back were rather amusing.
On the other end of the spectrum, even though Oda's (One Piece author) super rich, he works himself very hard, to an almost unhealthy extent.
One Piece. One Piece by quite some fuking distance. The other two stopped being on One Piece's level after their very first major arcs. Zabuza arc and Saving Rukia/Soul Society arc were excellent shonen manga. The rest are pure shit.
One Piece is just so fuking beautiful. Still has dat adventure manga feel that Dragon Ball and Rave Master had while having very interesting mysteries. Plus I love how the gang are technically criminals (lol, pirates, duh!) and that there aren't many 100% innocent people (maybe Coby?). Corrupt governments, pirates, adventure, power rankings that aren't fucked up and easy to follow, wacky protagonists that are criminals but would do anything for dat nakama time. Recipe for awesomeness.

Ranma > Dragon Ball Z >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> these 3
OP asked anime/manga gaf, the HxH anime remake is currently airing, is fantastic and blows almost everything else out of the water which is a very strange thing for me to say about a fighting show.Hunter x Hunter is disqualified because the manga has to be being MADE to stay in the top 3 IMO![]()
You HAVE to be fucking trolling.
Are we seriously going to try and pretend that OP doesn't have the same power inflation problems that pretty much all Shounen manga have?
:lol

I haven't read Mob Psycho 100 but judging by the plot outline it seems quite generic. Psychic powers + school setting + main char in love with a popular girl that doesn't notice him = blleeehh, no thanks.

Ranma > Dragon Ball Z >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> these 3
But from what I saw, Naruto has the best animated fights ... so this
Luffy only had his 1st transformation in Chapter 387, at least that a accomplishment lol
And in One piece even weak characters have their uses , there is no Yamcha like DBZ yet.
