Probably. In any case ...

Almost like we're all sick of people pretending Sanders has a chanceI dunno, seems like a cheap way for the media to declare her the nominee before the California results. Almost like they don't want people to come out and vote for Bernie.
And no, don't call me out for being a hurt Sanders supporter. I know he won't be the nominee.
Chimps and humans have 96% shared DNA. Pretty much the same, right?

Were flattered, @AP, but we've got primaries to win. CA, MT, NM, ND, NJ, SD, vote tomorrow!
I'm not voting from Trump either. Probably won't vote at all.
I'm sure the people who suffer under Trump's malevolence and incompetence will be glad to know that at least you didn't have to feel bad by voting for the person running against him.Chimps and humans have 96% shared DNA. Pretty much the same, right?
Hillary is a hawk that has supported the Patriot Act. I am having pangs of conscience over voting for her. Sanders has been losing my confidence as well over his increasingly paranoid attacks on his peers.
I think both will do direct harm, so I have trouble voting for either.
Maybe I will, in the end, but the interest isn't there right now.
How dare you sir.

Supers have existed since 1980 and have never once gone against the will of the popular vote.
The super delegate system is fine.
If they always follow the popular vote then why bother having them?

Didn't know there were so many Bernie haters on Gaf. Oh well, maybe next time we can get a more liberal president.

See: Donald Trump
To avoid a contested convention where the decisions are made in shady backroom deals?
"pls no I wanted to have my special dayClinton campaign's official response: "NO I DIDN'T SHUT UP JESUS"
If you're going by voting record, she was 11th most liberal Senator during her time in office - and she has been criticized for flip-flopping even further leftward since that time period.
There are more liberal Democrats to be found, but any suggestion that she's not well within the mainstream of American liberalism is misguided and/or disingenuous.
Good.
Now get out Bernie.
Who am I kidding? He's staying...
So AP called a bunch of superdelegates until they got until the magic number and declared Clinton the victor huh?
I was mad at her for holding out back then too.Give it a few days, Clinton was allowed a few days before a concession speech in 08, we owe him the same. Now if he pulls a Jerry Brown 92, then you're allowed to rightfully scorn him.

SAN FRANCISCO U.S. Sen. Bernie Sanders spokesman, Michael Briggs, on Monday issued the following statement:
It is unfortunate that the media, in a rush to judgement, are ignoring the Democratic National Committees clear statement that it is wrong to count the votes of superdelegates before they actually vote at the convention this summer.
Secretary Clinton does not have and will not have the requisite number of pledged delegates to secure the nomination. She will be dependent on superdelegates who do not vote until July 25 and who can change their minds between now and then. They include more than 400 superdelegates who endorsed Secretary Clinton 10 months before the first caucuses and primaries and long before any other candidate was in the race.
Our job from now until the convention is to convince those superdelegates that Bernie is by far the strongest candidate against Donald Trump.

What if Obama says "Psych" and pulls his supreme court nom?
"Thanks buddy"
Basically they are just hoping that the super delegates go against the will of the people.
Cool.
Does that make you angry?

Are you aware of the Green Party's anti-science stances?Meh. Will vote for her if it looks close and if there is any distinct possibility Trump might get in, otherwise I will vote for Green.

Donald Trump won fair and square though.
This could be avoided by simply using the popular vote.
If he won California 90 to 10 and took the lead in pledged delegates they would have too. The optics would be terrible and it would completely fracture the party.
Not saying he's going to win Cal 90 to 10, but a situation where the super delegates handed the nomination to an individual who did not have at least a plurality of pledged delegates would completely destroy the credibility of the party.
