I really wonder if they will release 2 legends then... or if Forge was just literally thrown into the trash.
we know Forge has abilities that are datamined and we know they work on up to 10 or so character at all time and then decide which of them are good enough to be finalized and put into the game... so maybe Forge wasn't fun to play and they just trolled people with him?
the leaked abilities sounded like he was very much inspired by Doomfist, with a ground pound, combo abilities and a sort of overshield he generates when doing damage with his abilities.

Forge is a forgery himself. Look at his eye in the video he has a scar and in the official artwork he doesn't. Potential body double. He's either coming later in the season or Post S5 since S5 seems to be Loba.

it would be cool if he gets dropped mid season (right when the second Ranked map starts) with an event.
Hammond Industries dropping some sort of giant arena onto the map or something.

It'll go down twice in S4 with the ranked split lmao. I got to Plat III and gave up. I could try and grind to Diamond for the trail but I don't wanna make myself hate the game.

Very similar trajectory, I got to Plat IV but felt a bit like a grind and wasn't really due to my battle skills. I just play very defensive. Fly 1000-1200m, loot first, fight second. Which results in almost always finishing in top 8. If you then have 1-2 kills it's quite easy.

I don't know exactly what changed, but my ratio this season went from 2.10 to 1.65 and my overall ratio also lowered like 10 points. I got like 10 wins total this season. I got destroyed, constantly.
Looks like everybody got way better and my team mates are more and more idiotic. Also, lots of quiters.

I thought that the bad players left and only the most fanatics stayed. Most of the time I get destroyed by people with the 20 kill badge, or people level 400+ (I'm level 112 lol) also, lots of pre made squads, I just play solo.

Nah they are still there, you are just not mixed with them anymore. I also play almost exclusively with randoms and wins are extremly tough to achieve now.

Here's an opportunity for the both of you to play together. I always play with 1 mate, and then 1 random guy, and this helps so much. You learn each other's preferences, can use voice properly, and is more fun. You should try to find people to play it with.

I was Platinum 2 in season 2. I can't get passed Platinum 4 in season 3. I was Plat 3 for about 15 mins. I've been on tier protection for the last 3 weeks.

I love Revenant's design and we need a Chaotic Evil character as opposed to Caustic's Lawful Evil. Everyone will jump on him when he's hot but I need to see if he fits with how I play. I don't play any Assault right now, two Defense, one Support and one Tracker.

Got 78 wins with Lifeline this season out of 90-something total S3 wins, I really should drop her for S4 though. We play very aggressive these days and I'm getting fed up with running the only support character on the team while others bask in the glory of getting at least a decent kdr. Maybe I'll claim Revenant.

They should stick to actually building out the real titanfall lore... it was so much more interesting than this overwatch twist on titanfall that apex has steered the lore away into.

I sort of agree but don't. Because this game heavily relies on the established world Titanfall made but Titanfall just shills pilots 24/7 and there's little growth for anyone outside of that. I know there's hints that Wraith and Bloodhound were maybe pilots but there's more to the universe than piloting mechs. This game is adding interesting pocket factions and stories to go with but TF3 should really come out and give what you want.

I mean this game OBVIOUSLY extends and fleshes out the lore. However, I think things are far more colorful and different than if it were to have just been titanfall without apex legends. Could it have gone this way eventually? Sure why not? After all, we are here now arent we? Titanfall 2 really made things interesting with the lore since the groundwork that was Titanfall 1 was so intriguing but left a hole without having the single player campaign. The "campaign " in the multiplayer was hardly that. I guess maybe I am still burnt by how WoW in my eyes ruined warcraft lore and fear this is going down the same road in some aspects. It would just be disappointing to me if we get Titanfall 3 and it becomes this goofy thing that now stems off of Apex Legends more than a continuation of what we got from TF1/2.

The game being in Titanfall world doesn’t mean it has to follow Titanfalls lore. Titanfall got it own lore and so does Apex
Whats next? They start calling the legends pilots and they start dropping with titans? No. It is how it is and its great that it has its own thing

I think you are misunderstanding what I am saying. I think you should consider my previous reference to WoW and think about the implications of the mention of that since that is a direct continuation of the storyline. I also am not saying it is a bad thing at all. I am just not a fan of what I am talking about(not what you may have misconstrued my words to be). For the record, I don't HAVE to like the direction they take their lore. I enjoy the game just fine either way(once again, my Warcraft reference). This latest update also expands the lore with hammond industries and goes slightly deeper into the overall universe.
