This is Vegas is one of the highest testing game concepts we have ever tested and were particularly excited about the sales potential of the game. This is Vegas, is an ambitious new intellectual property from our Seattle studio that we believe will deliver on the promise of open world gaming evolved. Players will be able to live their Vegas fantasy in a vast open world, lifestyle action experience. Game players will be able to experience those classic Vegas moments as they fight, drive, party and gamble in the first true Vegas open world.

Only like 3 people (includine myself) like it..
So I post the news for the other 2.![]()
No, it's because the new games were really shitty fighters. The Shaolin Monks title was awesome but Deadly Alliance and it's sequels were awful.lopaz said:Why? The old ones were supremely awesome, and the brief play time I had with the PS2 ones was hella fun. Is this typical GAF "it's not a 2D anime fighter with 20-press long button combos so it's not a real fighter" shtick?

Every PS2 ear MK has been an abortion. The series has fallen on hard times.lopaz said:Why? The old ones were supremely awesome, and the brief play time I had with the PS2 ones was hella fun. Triology?lopaz said:Is ultimate mortal kombat on DS anything like triology?
fernoca said:Triology?
Anyway..
Nope..
Ultimate Mortal Kombat (DS) = Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3 (Arcade) + Puzzle Kombat (PS2)
A nearly arcade perfect port of UMK3..basically, only that the 3 hidden characters are easier to unlock (require less codes) and stuff you unlock from Shao Kahn's treasure chest is automatically saves (like bios, endings,etc.)...

Now in french, to keep the funny it should have been: "Pas vouloir".
kbear said:You guys don't understand. They're taking a completely different approach with next-gen Mortal Kombat. I remember reading an article about this a long time ago and it got me hyped. I forget the details.. it's just not going to be a new MK with a next-gen coat of paint, it's going to be something that nobody expects. If I had to guess, I'd say some sort of major online component / MMO elements.
kbear said:/ MMO elements.
Yes, if I had to predict, I bet it will revitalize the franchise.Kowak said:A good game???

"On the next game, we're going to start new, with a bunch of brand new characters, a whole new fighting system, a new presentation with the new graphics for the new consoles, as well as a new control scheme to take advantage of some of the new technology available. We thought it was a good time to close this chapter and open a new one with every single aspect of Mortal Kombat -- It's going to be brand new."
