haha, that's so weird about the Supergirl rumour because last night I was just thinking about how without Amazon going forward, if the CW would be looking for replacement female candidates to fill out the TV trinity and Kara (along with Huntress or maybe even batgirl) was my first thought.

Too bad UPS has it sitting in it's depot all day even though I paid for 1 day shipping... what's the point of paying extra if you're not going to do it...

Of course just as I say that, I receive it... making their tracking very off.

There was one anime where I thought I would prefer english dub and it was Supernatural. I thought..hey..it's american IP, one of the tv show's actors is dubbing his character and all. But the end result was horrible. That one actor was actually great, sounding natural and emoting perfectly. But the rest of the english cast was just plain horrible. Having one of the leads actually do good only made it that much obvious just how much the rest of the cast sucked. In the end I watched most of the series in japanese.

I am just sorry you watched the Supernatural Anime at all. It seemed like a decent idea, and then I saw what Bobby looked like and had to run away.

I wonder how anime DC series would fare. Marvel's attempts have been all garbage, but maybe DC would do better? Gotham Knight was pretty nice. Not great, but definitely better than anything Marvel did...so maybe...

Do you mean any animated thing, or just in the anime style? Because normally I would agree with you, but Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes was pretty damn badass and finally gave Marvel a legit great animated series. But the deck is ridiculously stacked in DC's favor on the animated side.

Batman:TAS, Batman Beyond, Superman, Justice League, JLU. It is obscene how awesome those series were.

Anime specifically. Marvel made pretty big push for it couple years ago, with full blown anime series like Blade or Iron Man. They all sucked pretty badly.
Thinking about it, I believe Sandman would actually work a lot better as anime series than as a movie. Plenty of animes have done similiar style of slow storytelling with poignant themes successfully.

Well there was Batman of Shanghai though just a series of shorts... and still better than the Marvel Anime I saw

I imagine DC would do better in anime as they've always put more stock in animated efforts than Marvel has. Doesn't seem like an avenue they're interested in pursuing, though.

I thought the X-Men anime was pretty good, just on production value. Shame we probably won't get more of it.

Iron Man and Blade animes were awful, though.

So Hyped! Ollie's personality is becoming more and more "traditional Green Arrow" as the show goes on. He would never be bantering with Felicity like that back in the first season. So good.

Needed more Thea though.
