Yeah Im sure this is just the partner they are designing the first or "offical" Xbox handheld with. In the coming months we will see and hear of 30 more that meet or exceed the XBOX standards for games.
IM assuming 1080p / 60 is their target for these devices seeing how they handle cloud gaming.

I see this as an XBOX Pillar not a replacement console. They will still have a bigger box with more Grunt and Power!

Wrong. This will undoubtedly have a Z2 Extreme chip, over the Z1 Extreme in the Ally X. Likely also an OLED display.

Ye and cost a grand then? Will see soon, but I hevaily doubt it if they want it as nice companion device. Also z2 extreme is not that big leap over z1 extreme. One of reasons why valve is not bothering with steam deck 2 yet
