Atlus CEO teases unannounced titles

Lets see :). I have a few guesses with this :D.

-Persona 3 Sapphire for PS4/Vita - Releasing close to the fourth P3 Movie in JP and it comes out in western markets late this year/early 2017
-Persona 5 (announced but counts as its taking ages to come out) for PS4 - Releasing this Fall
-Another mainline SMT for consoles might be in the works?
-Maybe being the publisher for a Demons Souls remaster?

If they could do a reverse Persona 3 and re-use Persona's demon models to do a console SMT, that would be pretty fucking sweet.

Give me Devil Survivor 3. Surely it's coming. Surely. The 3DS games were ports, so I refuse to believe they haven't got at least one more ground up game in the series to make. Just a question of whether it will be NX or 3DS.

Man, I remember randomly renting this game up after my parents bought a Wii. I started playing through it thinking it was just like some surgeon simulator game, then there was like fucking aliens inside people or something. Totally freaked me out and I returned it immediately lol - in retrospect I should have kept playing it but I just wanted to surgerize people, not fight weird creepy things!

How about finishing the job and localizing SMT 2 and IF on iOS, in order to at last offer a way to play these classics in English without having to emulate them ?
Yeah, it totally would'nt be a big profit, but man these are huge titles.

PC ports would be megaton, evidently.

Probably neither, unfortunately. I can't remember right now, has Atlus published really good games that aren't SMT related these last few years ? There is the Etrian series, that's all ?

DS2 Break Record sold well in Japan, so there's a chance for 3 to be made in my opinion. The game seems to have a nice following, after all.

After the effort to port Devil Survivor 1+2 to 3DS, and the current popularity of both Fire Emblem and SMTIV, I think Devil Survivor 3 is reasonably likely as a late-release on 3DS, possibly even after the NX launch.

Better not be anymore RPGs. They're already asking for a huge time investment with IV-F, P5, and EO V, and at some point, releasing a ton of them within a short period of time is just going to cannibalize their sales to some degree.

A Raidou Kuzunoha (or maybe just Devil Summoner?) co-developed with Platinum Games would be very nice. But it's unlikely to happen :( At the end, I am still waiting a remake/compilation of the SMT from SNES with the engine of Strange Journey, so I would prefer that. It can be launched on 3DS, Vita or PC, but it need to happen someday.

Sigh, I hope so. I imagine the script has been finished for a while now, so I guess they've had the time to translate.

As long as EU and the US get the game around the same time. I don't think I'll be able to handle US gaf posting their screenshots and talking about the game while I'm still waiting.

Make it the summer of Persona Atlus.

Those demon models originate from SMT3, did you mean that one?

But yes, I agree. Console SMT and spinoffs would be great.

If more SMT spinoffs were to happen, I would very much like for them to do something new. People are asking for sequels all over the place (for good reason, perhaps, as the original games were good), but I would like for them to do new things.

I would still play a hypothetical DDS3 or DeSu3 or whatever, but I would be way more interested in something new. Well, assuming it's not SMTxFE levels of "new".

SMT5 on PS4 is the dream though.

Yes, that's technically what I mean. I meant reverse in that it'd be persona giving the demons to SMT instead of SMT giving the demons to persona this time.

That's definitely not a long enough title to fit in that series. More like Platinum Games Presents: Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Summoner 3: Raidou Kuzunoha vs The Terracotta Warriors or something.

I hope P5 in English is still on track for 2016 ....
Because if they get it this summer in Japan.

We usually get jrpg like almost a year later in English (and sometimes more).
