Sega doesn't forcefully control Atlus, but there's nothing that would prevent Atlus from doing so if they so desired when Sega is open to the idea.

Sega owns Atlus, do they not? I don't see why their parent company couldn't let them use a nearly completely dormant IP.
I'm just grasping at straws though. EOIV already has a multi-layered map that's explorable with a skyship and they wouldn't have to be completely beholden to different conventions seen in EO or SOA. They could just make it it's own thing. I guess I just want an EO game set in a world with floating islands or an SOA game with competent dungeon design.
Finally, my dreams of a Sonic themed Trauma Center are one step closer to reality!

Idk what you're talking about. I loved the battle system of Persona 2. Knocks P3 and P4 out of the water for me on so many levels. The combination of fusion spells with the fact that anyone can use any persona combined with the wonderfully charming contact system is just sublime. P2's combat is top-notch and I don't see how it could be anymore streamlined than it already is. P3 and P4 are what get tedious for me. That said I do quite like P3P.

Probably just a trademark people looked into too much. I wouldn't keep it in mind for potential Atlus titles in the future.

First thing come up to my mind when I read "our franchises will gather" was Growlanser. A low budget (preferably for handhelds) would be awesome. People need to do more stuff like Square's Setsuna. Low budget high quality RPG's.

I'm going to choose to interpret that as a dig at the Atlus Japan execs who are too short-sighted and Japan-centric to follow the lead of literally every other Japanese third party of any consequence (and some of less) on PC support, not at the fans reasonably requesting PC support when it's becoming increasingly common from Japanese publishers.
I hope it's a new console SMT spin-off, like Digital Devil Saga or Nocturne.
