Not as good a price as I was hoping, but choice is limited locally. :/
Got the games for $68 each though which is not too shabby at all.
I think I was pushed over the edge by playing Pikmin 1 and 2, and the new trailer for Lego City. I'm obviously finding more enjoyment in recent years out of nintendo first party than most of what I expect AAAA gaming to be like on PS4/XBox 3, so I figure I'll bite the bullet and deal with the inevitable disappointment when I realise I won't be playing Metal Gear Solid 5 and Beyond Good and Evil 2. I do expect to keep my PS3 (bluray player, psn+ freebies) until they give up the ghost, and I also expect a lot of cross-gen titles for the next three years if the games industry is as doomed as it seems.
At the end of the day though, my 5 favourite games this gen were SMG, SMG2, Skyward Sword, Portal and Pixeljunk Monsters. 3/5 is enough to sway me, and Q Games do put games on Nintendo systems from time to time.

I like how they make it out to be a matter of simplicity. Because women I know are all "Oh yeah, I'm like, going to the shops today, might grab some new shoes, get some coffee, have an abortion, then I might go get my nails done".
It's not a procedure I can imagine anyone enjoying having it done, or doing it because they are careless with contraception. It's simply because these precautions fail and they aren't in a position to raise a child. Making that decision is far better than raising a child in a situation where they are neither wanted nor able to be supported to the best of the parents' ability.
I think the anti-abortion types seem to think sexuality should be locked away until wedding night, and only then for procreation. Newsflash: it hasn't been like that for 99% of human existence.

So guys, is the MGR demo on both PS3 and 360? Which one is better? Will it come to PC and shit all over it's console counterparts by having 20000fps and shitty multi-GPU support?
MGR demo is on PSN (maybe + exclusive, dunno) but all reports are that it is on par with or better on PS3 due to lack of video compression. Otherwise both versions are apparently identical (like Vanquish was, not like Bayonetta).
What do you prefer more? One controller over the other, or uncompressed cutscenes?

This is something my mother doesn't seem to get whenever we argue about abortion. No reasonable moral person or even most people take the whole issue of "abortion" lightly, in fact it's due to those reasons that a woman should always have a "choice" because the complexity and delicacy of such a situation calls to have all the options available to any woman who is unlucky to find herself in such a situation, so in turn she is able to make the best "possible" choice for her own personal well-being.

I'm not seeing anything wildly different in the misogyny that occurs in some Islamic cultures compared to the misogyny that is tenuously justified by "judeo christian values". In both cases, women are treated as second class citizens, and are left to bear the consequences of other people's bad choices.
I mean, let's be serious here for a minute. In cases of unplanned pregnancy, it's down to recklessness on the part of the two people doing the tango. You should be using protection, but if you're riding bareback, it's pretty easy to tell when the horse is about to bolt, so to speak.
In cases of rape leading to pregnancy, I could not imagine anything more sadistic than putting the victim through nine months of unwanted and unsolicited stress, constant reminders, and inevitable pain of childbirth. It really should be a case of a) get the dna evidence, b) get the emergency contraception ASAP, and c) get them to trauma counselling just as fast.

Of course. Not every situation would lend itself to getting to a hospital/police station right away. Some people might not be able to do anything about it for days or weeks.
